- G'day everyone! In this video I show how to quickly replace all four exhaust hangers on a BMW E34 540i. This will keep your exhaust tips from hitting the ground and looking silly.

Great video, it helped me replace the hangars on my e34. I will say tho that it really helps to remove the rear bumper.
You have far more patience than me. That exhaust would have been ripped out and replaced with aftermarket..haha. Nice video and I admire you dedication to the maintenance and upkeep of your E34.!
Thanks man! An aftermarket upgrade might happen sometime soon if everything goes well!
Thank you very much for this video! I have the E34 530i V8 and I need to replace the entire exhaust from the cats to the back. When I acquired the car, I noticed it had some exhaust work done already as the large resonator was missing. I am going to probably just go with a Magnaflow muffler or similar type muffler to replace the original muffler as it has been damaged. Thank you again for this very detailed video! Video quality is great also. I was able to see everything. Nice 540 BTW!!!
Awesome video man! My own E34 needs some love now, after going thru these harsh winter months.
+BlackS0l Thanks mate! Every E34 deserves some love
Hi there a great video and very clear, beautifully constructed thank you.
I have E34 520i 89 model and I have replaced the aftermath exhaust with a muffler like the one you've got on your vehicle, however if you could let me know what the part number is for the two brackets at the rear. I'd really appreciated
I've already placed a donut rubbers on the vehicle but It seems to have the wrong bracket ,as it will not grip the seams on the muffler or tighten.
I was wondering why I could not get the exhaust to fit but when seeing your video I realized the brackets that I had ordered were completely wrong, as I can see in your video yours were in an L shape .
Please can you help.
Thank You.
Thanks, mate, This video helped me replace those rubber hangers, however the ones at the end of the exhaust pipe require rear bumper removal, like you said its tedious and my big hands could not get to them.
I guess i have to add these to my shopping list! 👌🏼 Great video as usual!
+Elmo Nevalainen Thanks Elmo
Tremendously helpful thanks so much.
Thanks for the detailed video! Can we have a video on rear bumper removal ?
Very detailed information
As always great video with detailed info ☺️
+Emir Hamidović Thanks man :) I've got some more coming soon now that I'm all settled.
Mechanical Fix looking forward to it ☺️
Keep these videos coming mate!
+TheVacand Thanks man, should have a few more soon
Good job
Continue please
Very helpful. I have a E34 525i and the front right hanger needs replacing. Will the resonator/muffler bend or dent when lifted by the floor-jack?
Very nice E34, can you tell me the size of tyres and rims(especily ET or IS). Thank you.
An extra tip is to use vinyl care on the rubber parts to make them last longer
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👌👌
Good video. I had to do this on my mother's 94 e34. A bitch trying to get hangers on, so I sprayed them with silicone lubricant. My 2 cents worth.
Nice car. Clean. Don't go aftermarket. they are ugly
+Mordaan Thanks man!
So true. Stock units fit and are designed so well for the vehicle, airflow etc.
Sorry you Forget thé preload….
You left out hard part. Getting the donuts on.
