Jackie I tried this method because I live in Tx and nothing that I've tried has kept my makeup on and last throughout the heat and humidity well I did just was you said and it worked I was outside at an event for work and my makeup didn't move not inch and it was 102 outside finally something that can withstand this heat thanks so much for the tip I will always use it 💋

Faith Janssen you might have facial hyperhydrosis, try translucent powder before or a antiperspirant creams like sweat block, I sweat mostly in my face. I though it was normal, but you search the term and see if that’s the issue
I've noticed that over the years your natural skin complexion and texture have improved a lot. I remember in older video sometimes you had dark discoloration and tone kinda like how my skin looked a few years ago as well. Just wanted to say that you look beautiful and I'm glad you found skin regimens that work for you. I know for POC it's hard for us to find skin care products that really work on discoloration or high pigmentation. Keep up whatever you are doing. You look radiant ☺️

yall i cannot BELIEVE this!! I did the powder after primer trick for a business event where i would be in the car for 6 hours and then out in the summer heat, and using the smashbox primer and the NYX HD finishing powder, my makeup stayed on PERFECTLY the ENTIRE TIME!! I'm not sure if i should thank the lord or thank Aunty Jackie
Hyaluronic acid is fantastic. I highly recommend Deciem's The Ordinary one. The price point is excellent also. Under £6 in UK.

no shade but if you haven't actually tried this product, which is a medical grade product, not something that's watered down and mass produced for more profit, please don't compare this to a $6 product or something from CVS. I'm not doubting the capabilities of the Ordinary hyaluronic acid serum though, I would love try that one as well. I understand we all have to start somewhere but not all hyaluronic acid is made the same
Jackie Aina you should read behind the ordinary brand. I think you would be impressed. I have been using them for about 6 months and the oiliness of my skin has reduced a lot. I have been using niacin, 2% advanced retinol, AHA/BHA peeling solution, and the Hyaluronic Acid with B5....oh and the makeup Primer is 💯💪.. Even Wayne Goss the MUA loves it (he did a review on it).
I got the double wear about 2 weeks ago...i used to crease with the becca foundation but, the double wear. No way! I love it. I pair it with the makeup forever step 1 matte primer.

Keep a large scarf handy! When you're done doing your makeup, cover your face with the scarf and put on your clothes over the scarf. Once on, take the scarf off! My mom taught me this trick and its a game changer!

Honestly, I just put less foundation there, and more setting powder. It still comes off eventually, but it takes longer.
Dabbing a little of Paula's Choice mattifying gel in my t-zone keeps the makeup from getting all over my glasses for a lot longer than just powder, but I'm oily on top of it, so its always a battle. I find cleaning my glasses again in the afternoon before I touch up my makeup helps, too.
Apply a layer of clear matte nail polish to your glasses where they rest on your nose. It helps.

Lila Guillaume it's black but with the a blue hue ! I love it, it's a great black lipstick and I personally like the blue hue. Kind of how people dye their hair black but has blue hues ??? The same with the lipstick
also she has gold undertones and i feel like the contrast makes it look more blue. (u can't tell in my profile pic) but my skin has a lot of yellow in it and black lipsticks always look green/blueish on me
