I've always wondered why you didn't neutered your boys. So I was shocked about the price you mentioned. Here in Germany it's the most common thing to have neutered boys. It's literally nearly impossible to get an unneutred boy. The Recues and the breeders only sell neutered boys. But it's like 30€ here (~30 $). I have a group of 4 neutrred boys and it works perfektly. I thinks it's not fair that you have to pay such price to have happy guinea pigs. But glad you did it!

For the people reading this, please don’t let his care make you feel down about yours. If you know you are doing the best you can space and enrichment wise for your pigs, that’s all that matters. You’re a great owner for caring, but sometimes you have to realise that your doing your best, and your best is 100% enough! You should be able to enjoy your pigs without feeling like you aren’t enough for them!

I would really love to see you make a basic care guide that is clear enough for a 10 year old to follow. While it's not the best idea so many parents are going to get there kid a guinea pig this holiday season and I would love to see your care standards adopted by new folks.
Wonderful cage, I can feel the joy of seeing your animals happy. But 600 dollars is crazy for a neuter! In Sweden vet prices are known to be outrageous, but still the price for a boar neuter at one of the largest cities most prestigious animal hospitals is around 165 dollars! I’m glad things turned out! ❤️

Why haven't I found you sooner. I follow other piggie owners that I love. They keep me on my toes with my 2 females. They are in 22 square foot C&C cage. I love learning new things. They are almost 2 years old I got them as baby. Anyways excited to watch more of your videos, and to see those happy babies running around.

I’m so glad you showed cleaning the cage prior to building! I’m preparing for my first bond and was thinking cleaning all the grids would take forever especially as I have such a small sink- just stick them in the bathtub!! 😂
Wonderful video and you did a great job with the new cage. I haven’t heard of anyone soaking the grids in the bathtub; you really go the extra mile. I would love to give my piggies a 3x5 (they are in 2x5) but I’m short and can’t reach the far corners to clean. I stand on a step stool and tie my cleaning cloth to a stick to wipe down the far corners now. Can’t put the cage on the floor as I have a bad back. I am living vicariously through you for the best Guinea pig cage and design.
