      @@Peacelily22 That’s for the normal wash for one unit - although prices will vary depending on the company! Chemical wash and other services are usually add-ons 😊

    Thanks for the video. A comment from me would be to do exactly what you did by getting a cleaner referred to by your agent because if the job is not done properly you can put some onus and responsibility back on the agent. If you go out and get your own cleaner and the job is not done properly, then it's your responsibility.

    I miss living in Singapore. Was there in 2016. (also from Canada) Good job on these videos. Helpful for people whose workplace doesn't pay for their stay. I was lucky enough to live in both Geylang and in Bugis. Geylang was a low rise with a huge garden and over 200 statues spread around the grounds. Bugis was super central and I was above a Japanese bakery...sounds great until you realize how easy it is to get fat. lol

    Hi Sherry,
    What about when people buy furniture/appliances and have it delivered? Is it also subject to the moving in rules of the building? Surely people are buying online these days and with those, we have no way of controlling the actual arrival date. How long does it take to set up utilities and internet?
    Thanks!

    • @kevinlim7974
      @kevinlim7974 Před 2 lety +1

      for furniture / appliances deliveries, if it's going to be a big item such as a refrigerator or a couch, then it might still be a good idea to check with the managing agent of your condo. Otherwise any day is usually fine. The managing agent (MA) is not unreasonable :) They know that many people get things delivered nowadays, but they do need to protect the condition of the building and its facilities as much as possible.
      As for setting up utilities and internet connection, if the physical connections are there, and you have your account set up, probably by the next working day it can be done.

    I think it’d be helpful to share payment practices to set expectations. Sparcleanx wants full payment 2+ wks in advance. Very strange practice before even completing (or arriving at) the job. I decided against them.
