hey, how did you get the dragonhawk pet as a nelf? did you go for it at lvl 10 or you waited to 40? i have concerns since i want it as an alliance hunter obv, but i dont want to be leveling it forever later
Hi, actually i went to Eversong Woods at lvl 20 because you will get Aspect of the Cheetah so it is way faster with it. But it takes roughly around 40 min to get there. Just take the zepelin from stranglethorn valley you will mostlikely die here so just wait and release inside when it arive. At Tirisfal Glades jump down and die + release spirit, it is close to Scarlet Monastery, after that you will have to travel to Eversong. I died couple of times at WP/EP but well it is worth it. After you will get it just find a group for a stockades a lot of people are doing it even for free and it takes around 5 runs to lvl it up to lvl 20. Also if you would need a Dive spell for GY + Scarab pulls, you can learn it from Serpents in Dustwallow marsh.
Hi, it was made in a World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Classic it still works in wotlk classic but as you said, it is not possible to farm it like that on world of warcraft classic/hardcore etc., since you can't use traps in combat (might be possible with duo farm so the second player would take the agro while you would use Feign Death to get out of combat and use the trap but since there are like 50-60 mobs on you would need talent Improved Feign Death to not resist a single one of them also pet keeps combat so dismis it)
Hi, I am not sure anymore which talents I was using, but I believe for aoe Farm you should play Survival. Such as tbc.wowhead.com/talent-calc/hunter/--03320202312322303 there are quite a lot of talents such as Clever Traps, Traps mastery, Resourcefulness, etc.. which gives you the most damage you can get from the traps.
Your doing way to much to get back there it's so much easier without all the shenanigans just use the thing to control your pet pull the mobs away and let them kill ur pet as they reset u dun to one of the 40 reset spots or you just mount up and run to a reset spot being that hunter can wear mail and has fd it's safer then a mage
I tried to show it the way as low lvl hunter (40-41) where your pet will get killed with 8-10 autoattacks and the chance of getting dazed is really high + if you don't have movement speed ability such as Dive the pet will die pretty fast. The Feign Death can also resist so if you will pull at lvl 40 like 20 adds and use Feign Death there is almost 100% chance one of them will resist it and the whole pack won't reset. But I am not saying there is not a better route for it as a low lvl hunter, there certainly is. It's just the best I found Of course when you are the same level as the rest of the adds you don't have to waste the time as low levels I even made a second video where it took me to get to a graveyard 2 min with only 1 reset and GY+ scarab pull you can check it. czcams.com/video/C8_FNma_xbU/video.html Also I am not entirely sure if it is safer than mage (atleast on lvl 40) because you can use Ice Barrier,Mana Shield before pull so you won't get dazed if you got any absorbs on and if you will get dazed by any chance you still got 3x Ice Nova + another 2 Ice Barriers, Counterspell and Ice Block to get to a safe spot.
This is going to be a breeze with explosive shot and trap launcher.

Much more difficult to do now, they've given the mobs the ability to instantly dismount you.
