This time, I boarded the "Umisachi Yamasachi," a popular sightseeing train that is the pride of Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan. The train cars are made of wood, and the beautiful Obi cedar is used not only for the interior, but also for the exterior, making this a very unusual sightseeing train. The train ride from Miyazaki to Nango Station, the last stop of the tour, was a delightful experience, with beautiful overseas train lines along the way, a picture-story show by the tour guide, and sales of Miyazaki's specialties on board the train.
