Pausing this tutorial to say I'm really thankful for your thorough explanations of everything you do!! I've been sewing for 10+ years but I'm self-taught, so there's just lots of technical details I don't know/never bothered to look up how to do it properly.. For example, when you sewed the zipper ends shut my mind was blown!!! You're awesome!

But I think I prefer the pattern with a measurement review like the bucket hat where it has "I think" 5cm and 1 inch boxes to recheck if it's correct

I had trouble sewing the pocket, it took time to figure out what to do with the little triangles. Also I guess is important to use contrast fabric and thread to understand better the process.
Hey sorry about the lack of pocket detail! Glad you were able to figure it out. Yes, great point, I've started to use contrasting thread in my videos to better show the stitching. Great minds think alike :)

Thank you🙏🏻 Haha they're pegboards, most home hardware stores have em. Make sure you get something to separate it from the wall, so that you can hook things into the holes
Quick question. I am working with stripes. On the finished product, when i open the pocket, i want the stripes to show( back of stripe fabric is solid colr).My question is when i place the unfinished pocket atop holster,do i place the stripes facing the fabric or opposite side towards holster? Thx
i did all this just by hand no machine cuz i dont know how to use it.. hahha.. take much time for that n a little tired.. but the result is awesome..

enjoyed you high quality video. Clips - are flat on the bottom (the clear part) so .. .. .. make sure they are on the bottom when sewing to have minimal fabric pulling at the needle. Also, evaluate your stitch quality .. .. .. skipped stitches, thread sticking up on the top or underneath? STOP. Ask your self if you are using a new needle (needles are cheap, new needle at the start of a project, change often), are you using the proper needle type & size for the project (microtex, jeans, ball point, sharp, universal) or is your tension needing adjustment. Not throwing shade, just sharing knowledge wit you and your followers. I appreciated your zipper insertion section.

When first cutting the fabric for the main bag portion, is the right side up or the wrong side up? Thanks!!
Doesn't matter which one you do first, as long as you do one wrong side and one right side 🙂 The pattern shape is too weird to cut on a fold
wait i don’t get it. is the zipper aka the pocket the only opening in the bag? or was i not supposed to sew it closed all the way? im so confused
