This video was created by Kristen J. Lloyd using her original song “My Brave”, and illustrations from her children’s book “Find Your Brave”. It is also based on her personal experiences. It was played for her performance at the 2022 School of Communications Convocation Ceremony at Brigham Young University.
Kristen J. Lloyd had a lot of challenges growing up. She came from a broken family. She was pulled out of school after 5th grade and instructed to teach herself from then on. As a result, she struggled with fear and anxiety throughout most of her life.
However, thanks to the creative arts, her grandparent’s farm animals, and her faith in God, she was able to rise above her adversity. She now has a bachelor’s degree in Commercial Music from Brigham Young University, and has learned how to overcome her fears and manage her anxiety to live a happy, fulfilled life. - Krátké a kreslené filmy
A few years ago Kristen was in my class, the psychology of music performance. She was searching for her brave. She asked to perform in class. When she performed in class she was nervous and she brought us all to tears. Her story is real and powerful. Her courage runs deep and she continues to inspire others as she shares her brave. Courage on!
