Discussing how to use a credit card and get the most back in return has been a pleasure so far.
As I approach 10,000 subscribers, I wanted to point out a credit card disparity I’ve been noticing in the credit card space on CZcams.
Having a credit card can open you up to a community who share similar interest in credit cards as you do.
In this video, I discuss how I determine which credit card information I use as a source of knowledge.
I hope a positive solution can come from this credit card disparity that’s mentioned in this video.

This is a video that needed to be posted ! The views and subscribers disparity is so obvious. The problem is that not many people want to talk about it because it makes people “uncomfortable”. Lighting and background matters, editing matters, the ability to keep someone’s attention matters. Relatability matters (age, race/ethnicity, lifestyle(family dynamic, similar goals). Also the apps def push certain people forward and you have to keep scrolling and searching to find other creators. The disparity is on all social media platforms. If someone is new to the niche, anyone who’s speaking boldly, confident and spews tons of data points will be seen as more knowledgeable and entertaining initially. It’s only after getting a chance to study and apply the info yourself, that you can start to weed out who actually knows what they are talking about and who’s blowing smoke.

I think .. has some to do optimization or pay for clicks type structure. I’ve wondered the same thing myself with ppl in this space. I’ll check out some of the other creators you mentioned in this space. I had never heard of them and I’ve seen dozens of others that had tons of views.

Interesting question... I have wondered the same. I'm a fan of Chad's Money Minutes, as he is both knowledgeable and hilarious at the same time, but I did not know about KeeKee Adventures until now. I'll be tuning in man! I am also a fan of CesarJoel, another interesting content creator in the space. It may be the YT algorithm at the core, as I sense general good will between most of the content creators and their supporters. Thanks for your courage in raising the awareness👍🏾

Experience does mean a good bit, but I know I watch videos more just to get a different perspective. If I want to get a new card, I'll do exactly like you said, I go in and read the web pages and get all the info. Read some reddit or whatnot, but then go and listen to a few videos about the card to get differing opinions. Content creators have different opinions and scenarios that cards make sense, and others have why it doesn't. Or if I read something, for clarification it actually works the way I read it. Then there is, can that creator present the information in an entertaining way, or at least entertaining to me.
I also listen to creators to try and understand the path I want to go down. For instance. What hotel or airline system should I focus on? I'm deep in the hilton/hyatt right now. Should I branch into IHG and Marriot or double down? I live by a Felta hub, flying. Should I just start getting into Delta cards, or what cards can I get to maximize value out of this hub since Delta points are trash? "And I have a family, so at this point, any flights should be x4 points than if you traveled yourself."
To me, it's all about research then Entertainment. I understand that CZcams and specifically CC yt is opinions on info given by banks and situations from that person. Sledge and Chad speak from experience, both are entertaining but I don't always agree. Sebby is big for a reason, he explains and breaks down actual numbers and scenarios, plus travels to a lot of places I would like to go. Anthony Venture lives close, and I know he is speaking through a value lens, even been on a video with him.
All that said, the viewers watch for entertainment value and the algorithm that youtube puts out videos. For instance, your channel has never popped up for me. Not once in the two years I've watched CC creators. I wouldn't know about you unless Chad hadn't pointed me your way. So I will say that youtube algorithm has a big part in your disparity issue. But also, different audiences find different things appealing to them and stick to the few they actually enjoy the info from.

To take myself as a creator out of the equation, I [personally] think that the social media "more subscribers/followers" means better information or more validated. You made a great point, we all have access to the same information, but the differentiation in content comes from experience.
