Now I'm wondering how many people did "worst Smash character" based on "this character isn't fun to play as" and how many did it as "I don't like that this character is in the game."
It made me suspicious that Byleth was in it.
I have to agree with you. Byleth ain't actually that bad in gameplay imo. Pretty sure they were in it because everyone hate them for being in the game.
However, I do agree with Olimar being number 1. He's just soo boring to use.

If you win with Joker’s final smash, then the final image of the final smash (Joker doing the sleeves pose) becomes the victory screen instead.

I like sora and all but I definitely don't think he deserved so many awards. Especially final smash and taunts, I feel like there was a lot of character bias rather than actual thought by most people.

The problem I think is that people can only choose one option. So it's not that Sora is the favourite by most people, but a lot who think he's the best. It would be better with multiple choice.
I never thought kirby would make in the list i guess he was too hype to left out and he was the 5TH fun character to play (due to community vote) that is a big thing though
I'm disappointed that Peach didn't get placed in any list, but at least she wasn't in the Worst Character list. Great video by the way.
I thought Peach would be in taunts because of her singing one. Also I’m surprised Byleth wasn’t voted the worst character because everybody raged with the reveal and Little Mac being higher by one was actually saddening because they are some very skillful Little Macs out there that people miss out on
Same here with Samus, she's my favourite. I definitely have a bias towards the Metroid characters, but still.

Byleth and Corrin aren't terrible to play as it's just that people hate on them because they're from a game they don't play.
Hard agree for Byleth, but Corrin just feels like a stiff, nerfed, less fun version of their smash 4 selves

I'm with you. Steve's definitely overrated, and so gimmicky he's unplayable.
As much as some whine about Sora, I like that his playstyle is simple, and goes back to the basics. Just don't get the bunny ears.
@can be You’re right with Corrin but for Byleth, there were other fighters in both challenger pack 1 and 2 that had more unique move sets than them. Joker has arsene, Hero with their broken rpg, Kazuya with the many inputs, and maybe overrated but Steve in general
@@cailieisidro5758 That's why I like her. She is fun to play and doesn't have a broken feature that carries them in battle. The only characters I play with overpowered features are Sephiroth and Pyra/Mythra
@@cailieisidro5758 Yeah, the multiple different weapons thing doesn’t hit like I think they intended it to, but honestly Byleth feels like the most balanced of them all and feels like they take the most skill to play. That makes them pretty fun imo

Sora definitely did not deserve that many awards like seriously, his bat swing animation was like any normal swing, and we definitely saw a repeat of to many of the same characters getting awarded.
C'mon, on this video we see so much the same characters on all the categories : Sora, Capitain falcon, Kirby…
And mainly Steve, who was on every category except star K.O, Bat swing, and worst characters (even tho it would have been surprising, obviously.)

Honestly, Chrom is a pretty creative choice. Swordfighter they may be, but a swordfighter that can turn into a motherfucking dragon, with some pretty unique moves

When I saw that 4 of the 5 characters that are the worst to play are actually some of my favourites... I cried on the inside... then I saw Olimar and was like YUP lmao
I knew Pit would make the top Star KO's, but I honestly thought that the guy who said "My journey ends here" (don't remember who that was) would be up there.
Also, I had a feeling Waluigi would be the most popular assist.

There’s some huge recency bias. Steve absolutely does not belong in the top Final smashes, and has an awful dizzy animation, no idea how it got first. Also Sora definitely shouldn’t be on most fun to play, or best taunts. I feel like Cloud’s taunts are a straight upgrade to Sora’s.
I get Steve’s final smash because of the way he eats his steak while the house is being blown and afterwards he teabags but the dizzy animation, I thought they were more funnier ones. As for Sora’s taunts when you were comparing to Cloud, it’s Square Enix what do you respect? Sure I don’t think they’re the best taunts but it’s very hard for Sora to be with Smash Bros because of the two stingy companies that would refuse to let their characters go to a crossover game that’s made from another company

well everyone has a different opinion on everything and how would you know if Steve got in the top 5 because of him being recent, He was added to smash a year ago and Steve is not the newest dlc. How could he be new?
I honestly don’t like the inconsistency as Joker and Sephiroth’s final smashes are high on the list due to their unique properties and how they look almost identical to their respective games, but Zelda’s final smash is there because of how useful it is. Seriously, I know that most of them are just personal opinion and some do it for memes, but the inconsistency of some of the ratings is just what’s bothering me. Overall, still a great video.

As someone who mained Byleth and Corrin (both of which I use their female Alts), I feel a bit insulted that they were in the worst characters to play as probably for obvious reasons

This was basically a popularity contest the same characters popped up for most categories. There's definitely better taunts than captain falcon's, Steve's and Kirby the zelda one is crazy nice waving 👋 off stage towards enemies and Mega Man's down taught goes all the way off stage.
