It's not society, it's lack of accountability in policing. I find it refreshing when I have a positive experience with an officer and I know officers that are genuinely good people, and even they have talked about coworkers that were less than favorable and went on power trips. i am a police officer AND a rider, and this is what i always try to do when we have a situation with a closed road or something similar. i know first hand how uncomfortable is to sit on your bike, either freezing in the winter or boiling in your suit in the summer, so its a no brainer for me to try and help a fellow rider. well done!

There's good cops all around, last time i just gave it a little, and a cop stopped next to me at the traffic lights, told me he could understand me for "accelerating" but "he wanted me to be save", his way of letting me go with a warning 😅

Had some construction blocking the road and the operator of the construction equipment told me to go around. A cop was on the other side and jumped out of his car and grabbed my bike. Asked me wtf i was doing and i said going home and the operator told me i could go around. His operating system shutdown for a second while he tried to think of a way to get his "authority" back. The operator started yelling at him and then he let me go. It was great seeing him have absolutely no idea what to say

A lot of the police are like this one. The problem is with the media. The media gets ratings for negative news. For some reason, people tune in for this more than the positive. Horrible to say, I know, facts are facts. 😢. I have seen some really good cops go down at the hands of some horrible people. It is rarely published. However, the agenda for minorities is made public nationwide. All I ever want is the truth. We all bleed the same. We are all the same in the eyes of God. I don't believe in white supremacy. As far as I am concerned I believe that black people have proven that they are a superior race. Survivors in every aspect of the aspect. I feel this way about many different people. Whites have been barbaric and they have acted out in fear. I'm grateful for the protection the police provide. ❤ I don't appreciate it when the few abuse their authority. I have seen police attacked by crowds when attempting to make a legitimate arrest. Terrifying. I have seen the opposite too. Horrific.
