    Why do I love watching you clean cookware? Why? … Also there is something about the way you speak of your father that I find very touching. It feels deep. Either it was a love and respect that was earned and built by hard work or it was eternal and unchanging from the start, but I doubt it was ordinary.

      Oh Gail :) I'm tempted to make a picture vid of my Father even though it's almost 5 years now he's been gone. Lots of faults, lots of positives and he left us tons to clean up after his passing but the hole left in my heart is great with me. I miss him daily... Thank you for the lovely comment :)

    HEHEHE…gotta love the slurp🤣🤣..what an awesome skillet, and really liked that ekco spatula!! Everything looked deeeeeeeelicious!!
    I’ve never had spaghetti sauce with Worcestershire sauce, sounds good! I usually use basil, oregano, onion, garlic, diced tomatoes, sometimes marjoram or thyme, if I’m starting off with tomato sauce and paste.
    You know what I’m gonna say!!! What am I gonna say?? I’m gonna say it!! Ready?? Here goes!! Thanks for posting!!🥳🥳🥳

      I looked at quite a few sauce recipes and a couple mentioned Worcestershire. truth is I didn't taste it in there and I was afraid I might. BASIL! Love basil! Majoram, checked my stash and I don't have it. I googled majoram spaghetti sauce and now I have to buy some! Considering the way the meatballs stuck I was lucky to plate anything up :)

    What solution are the parts for the feet soaking in?

    • @xetaprime
      @xetaprime  Před 7 měsíci

      Sorry, I should have put that in the description. I'm pretty sure I used WD40.

      Thanks. Going to tackle same model found in a thrift shop. I didn’t realize the parts came away as easily as your video shows.

      I’ve become a bit obsessed over cleaning this item and of course want to do it right. I tried the wd40 on one of the hardware for the feet and part of the bottom around the ring. It seems to work but guessing it will take a while to let soak and breakdown the gunk. I’m using old tooth brush but wonder if fine a wire brush is better. Did you use the mag and aluminum polish in your video on the handles and feet? Your finished product made the item appear new. Thanks for any advice.

    It looked pretty good, but man, those were huge meatballs! Do watch a CZcams channel called Cavalcade of Food? It's all retro appliances and recipes too. That electric skillet reminded me of that channel. You sure de-grunged that skillet!

      I remember you mentioning them before. I did watch a shrimp video with a Farberware skillet. I liked it. Maybe I should have made the shrimp LOL. Watched a few other vids of theirs and I admit I am a a bit jealous :)
