Hi I am planning to use this board in my project because of its size and simplicity. In my project music will never be played. Periodically there will be an announcement(recorded message) of about 5 seconds length. So most of the time the board will be in Mute state. The mute function is controlled by a microcontroller. My question is even if the board is in mute state, does it still need a heat sink? thanks.
How do I add a volume /gain control to thos board? There are no obvious connections.
