I just want to give everyone at Meinl Cymbals and Chris Brewer a GIANT thank you. I have dreamed of being a drummer on this channel since I was 15 and now I'm 31. So many years of struggle and almost giving up, but everyone on this team made my dreams come true. I smile so much because i get to live my childhood dream and i couldn't be more thankful. I cried before Chris picked me up for tracking these videos because i was so fucking nervous. Chris Brewer is an angel and made me feel so comfortable. He was so encouraging and made me feel at home tracking here. I have only been doing heel-toe doubles for about a year now, and knowing Meinl doesn't quantize, i was incredibly scared for this day. Thank you Meinl for believing in me, and making all my dreams come true. Thank you to Chris Brewerfor being the best rep, believing in me and giving me a chance... I recall seeing you in an interview saying that you were just learning heal toe I think when on tour with Despised Icon, that doesn't seem all that long ago, but damn if you haven't nailed the technique so quick! Congrats man, it sounded solid. Wish I could learn it that fast.

Proud to say I was playing with this dude for a little bit when he got the call to play with The Faceless. Dude learned the whole set in a week.
The best thing about Bryce, besides his drummer faces, is that he is a master class of ergonomics and not wasting movement. He hits exactly as hard as he needs to, when he needs to.
The same goes to Ben's vocals, super smooth yet powerful and dynamic. The whole band is criminally tight!

I just love the combo of awesome playing with such a happy face. He's obviously skilled but he looks like he's just having fun. Many other extreme drummers although also very skilled look focused or even strained, this dude looks like he just played a master piece for shits and giggles, love that.
If it's one thing I love watching is when you get this every now and then drummer that just has the biggest smile on his face while playing, and you know that just within the first minute of the song and he's saying too himself I got this, that's probably why he has the smile, this is one of those times, I hope.... nice job Bryce!!!🤯🤘🤘
