So our NYC apartment is taking longer than expected and our friends that rented us their home are returning. So it's time to move along. That being said, since our New York City apartment isn't finished yet, we need another home. Luckily other friends of ours have a nice apartment under their home in BK and it happens to be free currently, so we're moving in there temporarily. Not sure what temporarily means as far as timing, but so nice of them to house us.
As Hannah pointed out, our love story has been on the move for 4yrs now, and we both can't wait to just settle in to a house.
Soon enough!

People always say that, whilst treating the nannies terribly and claiming you’re part of the family . Most families have no clue how to treat their nannies.

Describing the state of a room as a "Situation" is just Brilliant 👏👌 small detail to some but literally an Epiphany to me 👀 my folks had an old road map that framed any disorder in shame - period - it is SO much more positive and energising for moving forward to use a "military" term that snapshots and acknowledges the life streams that have fed / are feeding into the room - Game changer 🤟 Thanks it has the potential for a great parenting strategy btw - neither of my children have Ever been shamed for disorder by me - just Hey kid if we get these great boxes for your collectables you can cherish them so well and find them really fast 🙃

Conspiracy theory #1 Kid was too young to be a nanny to high profile clients...that can be daunting. Hope this person works out.
I know of quite a few young nannies who work for high profile families. It comes down to the family, if they may be high maintenance & having a nanny who can manage that.

He's also your first kid so you have to figure out what works best. As the fourth kid I don't think my parents got it down till the 2nd/3rd right when he was born. Nannies and families change that's apart of life especially as your family begins to grow.

Ashleigh, I'm a newer subbie but observant regarding interpersonal communication. Chloe was creating an uncomfortable and unbalanced dynamic. It's none of my business and they don't owe us an explanation but I'm glad they rectified the situation quickly.
When Hannah said that she was feeling ganged up on by Brendan and Chloe making fun of her with the hats was the moment for me. Even if Hannah was saying it jokingly, sometimes the truth is spoken in jest.
