Those capes are awful. Heads look fantastic.
Yeah, non-wired & non-scalloped cape is a bit disappointing for the price, but the head & hands might be worth it. I’ve seen painted custom heads upwards of $50-$100 alone. There’s definitely some value here overall, it’s just a matter of it being the value you want.
Great review. Thought they looked really fun, but the only link i could find for these was for $70 preorder. For that price i think i would look for an import with soft goods. Nice find though. Thanks for showing.
When they make a knightfall Batman upgrade...I'll definitely be buying. More so for the hands and weapons. Can't believe they shipped the cape like that. This year 2 body is really showing its age.

Thanks for this video, Kyle. I like customizing my McFarlane figures, especially Bats and Supes. I prefer clothe good capes and am always on the lookout for upgrade kits. I hope you’ll consider more videos like this showcasing kits like these. FYI, if I may offer you a suggestion, Gridiron studios is a good upgrade kit company for GI Joe and Valaverse military style figures.

yea no the heads and hands look really good but the capes look like a bed sheet. If im paying for an upgrade I'm deffinetly going for a wired scalloped cape otherwise the plastic capes do the job for a statuesque look.

Great idea, not sure about the execution though. Those capes look a bit crappy, and the choice of fabric doesn't really match the shine on the plastic (colors look a bit off too).
The only thing I want is the extra fists and for Neca to have the DC license but I guess I’m SOL all around lol.

Totally disagree about the soft-goods - IMO they mar the artistry of the piece stylistically, making it look less like a whole, and more like a mash-up.
As I say, IMO... Buy what you like.

Upgrading a McFarlane toy is like upgrading a Ford Pinto.
Pro: Alternate fist hand has more d detailed kryptonite ring.
Con: Awful cape
HUGE con: no articulation at the base of the head to give a real articulation. So it's really no difference from the original's articulation at the base of the neck.
