They ask interviewees to do that in case during the editing they leave out the interviewers questions and only hear the interviewee speaking.

The questions sound like they were added in post-editing. Those might not have even been the exact questions being asked. Sounds like they told Zach “Repeat part of the question in each of your answers so we can edit them in later”.
In NBA public training courses they teach you to do that too. That's why in many nba interviews if the player wasnt 100% on the question asked they will repeat part

Zach is one of the most humble and respectful athletes now a days. My family and I met him in Las Vegas. My son wanted a picture with Zach and was to embarrass to ask him. So I asked Zach if he would take a picture and he said sure. That day there was a big event for basketball and not very many athletes wanted to take pictures. Zach was very nice and humble...LOVE him for that. Well educated of course from UCLA!!! Stay nice and humble Zach. Great things happen to great people 😊🤟😀👏
Michelle Munoz my nephew also met him at a restaurant but was too shy to ask for a photo so my nephews mom asked for him and Zach said yes of course. The guy is just a real down to earth cool dude. He’ll always have my respect just on that alone. A lot of famous people think they are too good to just acknowledge others. Zach is not one of those athletes. I wish him all the best!

To Zach a person who did not forget about the little people. So many athletes forget that we the people, the fans are one of the reasons they are where they are because of us fans watching them. I had high hopes for this show. I hope somebody copies this format but actually shows the equipment in the gym, what he uses the most, why he has it, etc. And same with fridge, an explanation of what he eats, how often, etc. This show gets the person in their gym than asks about tattoos.
