Hi there, I recently bought 1958 sterling Diplomat model. It has the appropriate 3" spares in the barrel but I can hear them rattling around. Is that normal?
This pencil looks very great and intrincate. Where can I acquire a pencil similar to it, but for affordable price? not in silver or anything like precious metal is expensive ?

Ah ha so the spare lead is hiding in the barrel, thanks for sharing.
Spare lead 3 inches long. Barrel holds 12 spares. Hence the name Yard-O-Led
