This is interview perfectly shows two things: 1. How much Patrice is loved, 2. How much Opie was an Untalented, unfunny and entitled cohost to Anthony’s natural talent. Opie thought he was an integral part of the show outside of keeping time and attempting to keep the pace of the show going.
Naa, in the nopie episodes some gags go on for like 20 minutes longer then necessary, I don't like how he kills bits but id say 70% of the time he's on point

@@Spootnik Ali g was not a hugely popular show in America. Borat was not a known character in America. The movie BORAT had a full press run and full promotion for it. Trailers were shown in theaters and it was a big release in America. It wasn’t for no reason lol. There were commercials for it all over tv. It was a big movie at the time.
Opie was totally unsuited to the job he had. Not funny, not smart, unable to tell a joke, unable to take a joke, could not read beyond a fourth grade level.
Opie is really bad in this. Has absolutely nothing of value to say yet just rambles hoping magic happens. Just shut up Opie, the funny people are talking.
