    I've had this bike for about 2 months now, and I've gotten up to 90 miles 3 times (though its hard to stay on a bike for what amounts to 5.5 hours). I really hope this becomes the new standard for batteries.

      Is huge! I would be happy with a 40 ah 52V on my Kepler. There are a few Kepler owners with dual 52V 20 ah batteries and a couple others I know of that have 60 and even 80 ah set ups. 😂

    Current owner. Extremely heavy bike, had rear flat in 20miles on road, bought 2 new for $150. Poor design for repair and maintenance or tire repair, have to remove brakes and chain to get tire off as rear comes off backwards . Battery is large, which is nice, but only 55volts when charged not 60 as advertised. Pedaling useless after 15mph. Front light not adjustable. My motor had to be disassembled and re-greased after 70 miles because of crappy quality control. Derailleur works but came bent and still makes noise. I would go for the new XPedition Dual-Battery Cargo eBike from Lectric. Much better quality, design and load capacity, equal distance and cost. I've read pedaling works up to 25mph on it as well.

I also have to change seat post as I didn't have any lock-tite, recommend when putting bike together. I just got the 52V version and there are some differences in regards to the 48v version. 1. The 52v version comes with CST BFT 20x4 branded tires. These tires aren't high end by any means but they are a better quality than the tires shown in this video. 2. The 52v version comes with different grips and a half twist throttle instead of a full twist throttle. The front fork in identical besides the lock out knob on the right hand side which is black instead of blue small difference but it's there. Top speed on the 52v version is 31mph (yes GPS tested it) 48v version is 28mph maybe 29mph from what I've seen. Torque is a bit more on the 52v version too 100NM vs 80NM a significant difference 74 ft-lbs vs 59 ft-lbs..

    My bike has 20x4" wheels, and came with knobby tyres. Changing to slicks was the best thing I ever did to it, particularly because the only time I'm not on a sealed surface is the three metres between my driveway and my side gate. The knobbies (Kenda Krusades) went about 2,000 km before I had a serious blowout, and I should really have replaced at least the rear probably at the 1,000 km mark. The slicks (Kenda Kraze) have so far gone about 1,500 km, and they still look basically new.

      @NoobixCube Před rokem +1

      @@serge470 I'm only 70 kg, about half the weight of your average MAMIL, but the bike is 35, and the battery holder is right above the rear wheel, under the tail rack in my case. All of the weight on my bike is localised over the rear wheel. The roads in Melbourne are, when they have any surface integrity at all, extremely rough. I imagine that chewed my wheels up fast. The softer rubber of the knobby tyres didn't stand a chance. If I'd stuck with the same tread, I'd have just swapped the front to the rear, as you say, but since I decided to change to some tougher slicks, I ditched the half-worn knobby tyre from the front.
      Ultimately, the slicks still look basically brand new at the same distance the knobbies it came with looked like they'd been through hell. In the end I don't care why they didn't last, just that I apparently made the right call going with the lower thread count slicks.

    There are a lot of uses for this bike. Like road trips, trail riding, camping, fishing, hunting. Have you seen the external power unit? With a 60ah battery you have power to spare. I wouldn't take it off-roading because of the weight. Most bike/ four wheeler trails are good enough to take this e-bike down. I was a poor country boy so before we could drive we took our bikes everywhere riding them all day long. Now that me and my wife are in our 60's we still like the ride bikes with our kids and grand kids. With this bike we can keep up where ever they go biking. Maybe you need to get out of the city get some fresh air and truly see what a 100 to 200 mile e-bike can take you. There are more sites to see in California then just the Hollywood Sign. I just got this bike for my wife who is 63 and had both knees replaced she is excited to ride it. I myself have a stealth bomber which I built myself. To build the 72 volt 60ah battery was the hardest. Got used batteries from hospitals broke them apart and tested the cells. I even built a tack welder out of a microwave transformer to build the battery. Fyi don't try to build a 72volt battery all at once. Build two 48 volts and hook them together separately. Every time I got over 48 volts it would catch fire and I would have to ripe it apart before whole battery burn up. My wife is still mad about the burn marks on the kitchen counter. The main reason I built my own bike is because other e-bike had no range. Now there are e-bikes on the market that can keep up with mine. Last thing always carry a tire repair kit, pump, spare tube, tire patch, and green slime. Think hard would you buy a electric car with 30 mile of range?

    It is worth pointing out that the 52 Volt version of this bike only delivers 200 Watt more peak power at 1400 Watt compared to 1200 Watt for this one, that version is called A8 rather then AQ177. Strange that it has such a different model name. Worth noticing is that the A8 version do not have that nfc card that you use to start the controller nor does it have any turn signals. I wonder why they think the more expensive version should be more easy to steal and less safe on the road? I am sure that the flat tire was caused by the strain from that break test. That is one of the major flaws with this bike, from the factory it comes with cheap regular bike rated rather then moped rated tubes inside. That is one of the changes they should make to this bike since it is such a powerful and heavy bike. Also that front light mount is a major flaw, it simply can not hold the light in place if you go on rocky or bumpy roads. It simply falls down to the side and dangles there.

    The main reason to choose skinny tired over fat is a persons own requirements.
    For instance, a skinny can be lifted more easily. This means maneuverability increases in terms of riding.
    Not to mention ranges and excelleration All things to consider of course.
    Fat tires is close to an Enduro motorcycle, but like a Custom motor with a gallon gas tank in terms of range..
    Passes everything but the AC outlet.
    An Enduro motorcycle however, travels hundreds of miles and only needs a few minutes to refuel.

    • @jakereal3604
      @jakereal3604 Před rokem

      ANYTHING can be stolen if the thief wants it badly enough. People must remember that! Locks , chains , alarms , cut off switches etc are all great theft deterrents and might slow down a crook, but again if they want it badly they’ll get it. Say you have it locked up to a street light with a welded HD chain and bad ass lock. If criminal has a portable angle grinder (many do now days ) they can cut through it in seconds! Once cut off roll the bike down the sidewalk into a van etc and be gone in less then 1-2 minutes

    Wow, so I just had a rude experience from one of the Aniioki reps. I asked if it would be possible to replace my failing 750 watt hub motor on my Aniioki AQ177 Pro Max 48v 60ah bike with a 1000 watt hub and asked a couple of dumb questions in the process which I answered myself and you know what I got? A lot of these !!! So to say I'm not impressed is an understatement... At any rate I'm wondering, is the hub motor a 175mm or 190mm? Oh, how's it going? lol

    I have just discovered your channel and enjoy it very much. I am 76 yrs old and still enjoy working in my yard but my age limits me. I have been looking for a vehicle that needs to go only 2-4 miles a day to move gardening equipment and supplies around a 14-acre flat terrain property. I want to ride with the supplies but not at a high speed. Slow and steady to move me and my tools and maybe a small apple tree is what I want. Do you think there is such a vehicle for me? Thanks again for the channel.

    You know that thing needed front wheel drive also.. Why not add another 15 lbs? 😂 But then at least you could do hills and sand. That bike with a beefed up front suspension and front wheel drive is something people would really consider. A 35-40 ah battery would have been plenty. 90 lbs like a Walkie H6 would be nicer also. At least a Walkie H6 you could stuff in a mini van or SUV folded.

    If all you do is ride in the city, then 1st mod is to upgrade tires to quality road tires. Better handling and stopping, smoother and quieter ride, with less rolling resistance. Should some increase in range as well. Those are cheap as Chinese tires

Last one I watched you reviewed didn't even have a through axel! You bought a skewer QR for it but decided to use the tiny pinch bolts it came with, and no inner axel support! Even a skewer QR is dangerous for a heavier ebike but it's abit more support!. I'd love to know how these ebikes perform everyday use and how
