My Sister Phyllis and her Daughter Laura Meet Again for the First Time in 3 Years. Thursday 7/18/24

My Sister Phyllis lives in a care center in Chicago. Yesterday, her daughter Laura saw her mother again for the first time after a three year estrangement. My birth family on both sides had really tough and very sad times. Laura had been through a lot as a child. Her story is tough to hear. She recently did a podcast to talk about it. I will share the link for that at some point, but yesterday was a day of reunification for my sister and Laura. We didn't tell my sister we were coming, this was a surprise for her. I went in first, and immediately, she asked if I knew Laura. She had been wanting to see her for so long. This is a video of our visit.
