Nice start, a couple of things I like to add though:
"Periodically plowing" seems to be just a legacy name for it in the options menu. It only means you have to plow after root corps or not. I have never seen the the "needs plowing" modifier appear on any field that didn't had a root crop before, no matter how often I harvested it. And now with the yield modifier being visible in the field info it is very clear if you're missing out on something or not.
About weeds: You can get rid of up to medium weeds with the "CHOPSTAR 5-90 + ROW-GUARD" without any negative impact on the yield.
OR
You can use herbicide immediately after seeding/planting before the crop reaches the first growth stage. It will also get rid of any weeds AND won't hurt your yield whatsoever. It is also probably the most realistic way.
You can just use a small weeder as well right after planting/rolling as well. It's not the easiest visual field change to see, but the AI does seem to handle it well enough.

@@benmitchell3257 Yes, I forgot to mention this, but this also works. Basically Weed gets spawned the moment you seed or plant an area, even if it doesn't visually show up on the field or in the map overlay. But of you just point the camera on the piece of seeded land the field info will already say "growing weeds" or something and if you immediately remove it it will be gone until you harvest the field.
I've had to plow fields right from the start on many maps. Turning off periodic plowing takes that away immediately. It's definitely not a legacy feature.

A perfect video from Scroft again. We use the same pickup truck and baler. Hesston makes a different size of bales in width. It is bigger and heavier than the Krone does. I hope we won't live problems while preparing the TMR. I preferred the McCormic V8 as the biggest tractor, second is Claas 820 and kept Fendt714 as third but I will probably change it with JD7810. I drilled wheat to F2, canola to F3 and maize to F6 for silage. It is really nice to play the same map with you :) Best regards.

Really like the way you do the introduction video! Very beautiful! Perhaps it just me, but is it possible to slow down a little when you are on foot? The camera flying around and it’s stressful to watch. Daggerwin do it also and I do my self when I play , but perhaps something to consider?
Just to the extent others didn't cover it or make it clear - while the game's mechanics do not make this at all obvious - it IS possible to prevent weeds without use of herbicide or plowing every time. After sowing, if you stand on the field and examine the info dialog in the lower right to tell if you if weeds are growing (and not the map overlay which will tell you nothing at this point), if the dialog says weeds are going to grow, you can then run a weeder or hoe over the sown field and it will eradicate the weeds before they grow. You can reexaine the field after weeding just part of it to see that the weed growth info on that part is now gone. CP is really helpful for this, given that it's really hard to see what ground you've covered with the weeder. I usually roll and then weed, after sowing
Thanks for the tip, I'll defo take this on board. I was trying to mix things up from my other series which have weeds enabled but I'm going to enable weeds next harvest on Calmsden 👍
I do prefer the weeds in FS22, they're no longer a random, periodic event, that usually happens on the night when your crop goes ready to harvest, thus resulting in a loss of yield through no fault of your own.
In FS22 they're a triggered event - some cultivators, subsoilers, harrows and power harrows will cause weeds to trigger, additionally some seeders and planters also result in a weed trigger. (Proper) Plows eliminate all chances of weeds, no matter what else you do to work the field. Thus, once you know your equipment you can plan ahead for what causes weeds. The only issue I have found is that the weed help (field information and main map overlay) shows the lowest stage of weeds (small - medium - large), and the advice is only for that level of weeds. When I was testing out the how and why of weeds, I cultivated and sowed my fields and next morning had weeds - I was advised the weeds were small and needed a weeder. But when I ran the weeder over the first field, I found I still had weeds and the weeds were medium and needed a hoe. So, I traded the weeder in for a hoe and redid that field and the others - result all weeds were gone, and yield was fully restored. Why did I get 2 stages of weeds? - I assume because I hadn't plowed and had done things which caused 2 weed triggers. But for now, I think the safest bet is to buy the hoe (only 1 hoe in the weeder section of the store), and plan exactly when to use it ahead of time.
