As OG K-ARMY since before they debuted I can tell you from the beginning of the name taekook both Taehyungie and Jungkookie have told ARMYs "taekook in a cute hyungs/brothers way not in a weird way". Taehyungie himself called out a I-army on weverse when she shipped them. He has also posted on weverse and Twitter that these lies about him being in a romantic relationship with Jungkookie hurts him and his family. It bothers him so much that he is the one who went to Bighit Hybe attorneys and asked them to start litigation against social media platform owners and channel owners for spreading misinformation and lies about him. And they released a statement saying they are going to be bringing lawsuits against those people on the grounds of defamation of character and slander. They later updated about the lawsuits they won against three CZcamsrs and got their channels shut down (all three were taekook shippers channels).
Also I can tell you that Jikook have always been in love with each other from the beginning. And they have been telling ARMYs that for years. If you understood our language, culture and customs you would know that. The terms they use to each other are terms we Koreans only use for our spouse or lover not our friends.
