The wood processor is modified and improved with a simple solution

In this video, Christian takes you through a detailed project where he improves and maintains his Pilkemaster wood processor. He begins by identifying an issue with the hydraulic oil used to lubricate the saw chain. To optimize the machine and make it more environmentally friendly, he decides to switch to bio chain oil. This is a smart choice, especially for those who want to use the sawdust from the machine without worrying about harmful mineral oils.
However, the project turns out to be more complicated than expected when Christian needs to attach a bulkhead fitting to a five-liter container with a very small opening. It takes a lot of thinking and several attempts before he finally finds the right solution. By using an offset wrench, he manages to reach through the small opening and fasten the nut on the inside of the container. It’s all about thinking creatively and finding solutions to problems that might seem impossible.
Once the bulkhead fitting is in place, he can easily install the new container with bio chain oil. The end result is a more sustainable and efficient wood processor that is ready to produce cleaner sawdust for all upcoming projects.

Ja klokt att ni bygger om kedjesmörjninfen. Finns väl ingen som kör med hydraulolja till motorsågen så varför ska man göra det i en vedkap.
