- In this video, I will go to a Downtown Seattle apartment called Omni South Lake Union. It is right by the Amazon, Google, and Meta campuses so is in a great location and it has the most amenities of any apartment in Seattle so far in 2023. I really liked checking out this place so come take a look with me.

Cool area, if you can afford to live there. When it was less expensive and safer we used to kayak there. The now demolished older brick buildings had inexpensive (for the area) apartments that sometimes were AirBnB'd. On the fourth of July we would paddle around and then watch the fireworks. It would be extremely crowded and you would meet people from all over the world visiting. Great tour, thanks for sharing.
Thanks! And yes! I love the 4th of July fireworks although I've never paddle boarded to watch them (but that sounds like a great idea)
Onni is still very safe. The little corridor north of Denny is often patrolled by Amazon + building security so it is very safe even without a police presence.
Cool Apartment!
So nice to see a new video from you Chris. Love the view shots, what a unique, gorgeous city.
Thank you for your comment! I’m glad you like the video. Hoping to get back on a regular upload schedule soon 😄
Hmm nice video. Thank you.
Thanks!
Eyy this is the guy who asked if you were still making videos, sweet you sure did! I'm excited to get watchin
I’m glad! Ideally I’d like to make videos each week, but I get lazy sometimes haha
We always appreciate your videos
Glad to hear :)
I 'm a little confused my friend! are you planning to move back to downtown Seattle or iis it just a random presentation of some appartments for informational reasons? I was hoping you would share with us your eperience living in the suburbs of the city, and maybe compare the living there to the one in a city center.Anyway one way or another it was a pleasant video to watch!
No worries! It’s actually just an informational video. With a lot of people getting called back into the office I wanted to do more apartment tours near downtown. I have no plans to move back to downtown anytime soon. But I will make a video on living in the suburbs. Waiting for warmer weather so things are greener and so I have better video to work with haha
@@Chris_jae i 'm longing for your video beacause i trust your objective point of view my friend!
I live in Seattle and these prices are crazy omg. You can easily find new buildings with almost the exact same floor plans and amenities for like $1000 cheaper even in SLU... this place is just grifting tech workers lmao
Do you know any names of apartments that would be cheaper with similar amenities
Heads up Chris, its called ONNI. Not Omni lol
Oooof! Hopefully no one else noticed haha
Quick question Seattle looks just so cool and has so much cool stuff but I'm conservative, how well would you say people like that would fair lol
In my opinion, most of Seattle is moderate leaning left. Most people also don’t care what others think politically, but there are highly vocal people on the extremes who make the biggest fuss. In general though, most people I meet in person are liberal for social issues and fiscally conservative (even if they don’t openly admit it). I’ve seen plenty of people called out online for their opinions but never in person in day to day situations
An interesting point to add. Some of the most conservative people I’ve met in the city are immigrants and those here on visa.
Way WAY too expensive! Almost to the point of being ridiculous! I just don't understand the price of rent in Seattle now with thousands of homeless people living and roaming the streets literally within feet of the exits to ALL of these these buildings.
The amenities are moot when your at work 18 hours a day 7 days a week trying to afford the place.
That’s the main issue. When I visited they had a lot of vacancies so maybe with a recession they will have to bring prices down
Master bedroom looks small.
