Thank you very much for this video. It was SO HELPFUL! I am going to get the one inch curling iron. đ
Thank you so much for this video! Iâve always been so uncertain about curling iron size! This was so helpful!
THANK YOU. I've been looking for this exact sort of video; we have the same hair- length, color, texture and hold. This helps me make my choice in buying an iron! xxx
Glad I could help!
I love the 1" look. Thank you so much for sharing!
Youâre welcome!
Thank you so much! I've been looking into curling irons and was so confused about which barrel to get, was afraid the 1 1/4 would be too big, but seeing both results on your hair, it's definitely what I'm looking for.
Sweet! Glad to help
You just convinced me to buy the 1 1/4! Thanks for a very informative video!!
Yay! Iâm so happy to help!

Great informative video bekah, i have been looking for the difference since yesterday night but couldn't find anything. Just now got your 1. Its highly helpful thanks once again đ
Yay! Thanks for the feedback
SUPER helpful, thank you!
This is exactly what I needed to know before I commit to a size...thank you. I'm going with the 1 1/4 inch. I appreciate you sharing your research!
đ§Ąđ§Ą happy to help
Wow I love your video, you explained everything so good and quick, congrats on your video this is soo coool!!
Thank you! Iâm glad you liked it
Thank you. I have the 1 inch and love it since I have very straight hair so it keeps my curl up for 3 days. Now Iâm getting the 1.25 inches for a different look. Before watching your video I thought I needed the 1.5 inches. Thank you so much. Very surprised that .25 inches already makes a difference.
Very informative and helpful, thank you! â€ïž
Glad it was helpful!
Awesome video! So informative! Thank you đ
Glad you enjoyed it!
This was very helpful. I was debating btwn a 1â & 1.5â. You helped w/ my decision, so thank you!
Sweet!! Glad to help!
Which one did you choose?
Finally a video that shows the exact differences!
Thank you. This video is super helpful! I saved your video so I can reference it the next time I curl my hair.
đ
This was so helpful!! Thank you!
Yay!! đ§Ą
This was so helpful! I now know what I must do.
Glad it was helpful!
Very cool, by the looks you got, I think combining the two would look amazingly natural and bohemian.
this is so informative, i love this
Glad I can help đ§Ą
Have a 1" hot tools from when my hair grazed my shoulders, and now that it's similarly long to yours I've been trying to figure out what size to get to add a little wave since it's too long to scrunch and air dry anymore. Did not consider the extra .25" would come out with that nice loose look, figured I'd have to get in the 1.5-2" territory!
Yeah it surprising how loose the 1.25 gets
Awesome tutorial, finally someone making a comparison between the barrel sizes, thanks a lot
Glad we could help! đ§Ą
Very informative video. Thank you. Iâm Team 1.25â here. My hair is up to my waist, the soft and bouncy curls suit best for me.
1 inch for the win! Ordering from Amazon, thanks for the comparison because I was contemplating but I have medium to long hair and I love the way yours came out!
Yay! Iâm so glad I could help. Any other hair videos you would love to see?
This was SO helpful! I'm new to your channel .

Excellent video, you explained it all so I could understand, getting the 1 inch.đ„°
Wonderful! Iâm so happy
Great review, very helpful. Personally I like 1 1/4 inch for a more polished look for work.
Thanks for sharing this đ€.
đ§Ąđ§Ąđ§Ą
Love the 1 in! My hair is down to my waist and couldnât curl it or keep the curl with a straightener anymore!
Great video!!
Thank you!! đ§Ąđ§Ąđ§Ą

Happy to help!
thankyou, I really need this
Glad to help!
I appreciate this video thank you so much

This was super helpful!
Oh great! Did it help you decide?
@@Bekah_and_co_prohair Yes, I definitely like the 1.25 inch look. Also will check out the pureology spray. Thanks!
Yay! That makes me happy!
Thank you for this.
No problem đ
seriously binge watching all your videos lol
đ§Ąđ§Ąđ§Ąđ§Ąđ§Ą yay!!!
Thank you
Thank you!đ
Of course!
SO WELL EXPLAINED. LOVE FROM LAHORE, PAKISTAN
Thank you đ§Ą
How do you get the tip to stop spinning on the one inch barrel?!? Itâs driving me craaaaazy
Wow! This explains and shows perfectly why my hair keeps looking so messy (almost frizzy IMO) I have been using the 1 inch for so long. I finally picked up a 1 1/4 inch today and Iâm excited to use it. Iâve got long thick hair but the actual strands are fine.
Yes, a 1.25 would probably be a better option for you. Let us know how it goes
@@Bekah_and_co_prohair it went SO good, your video actually helped me so much. My curls are much better as far as structure goes now I just need to find a way to make them stay longer. But just for one evening itâs perfect. I donât have any complaints.
Thanks so much!
Youâre welcome! đ§Ą
Is the extra long barrel still suitable for short hair? I have long hair now but might want to cut my hair at some point. Was wondering if you thought the wand is versatile enough?
Yes! Iâve used it on both
I think I love the more relaxed waves!
Yes!
If anyone is watching this this as of the end of November, ulta is having a sale on hot tools and the curlers are only 25 bucks.
Oh sweet!
But itâs not on the longer barrels, bummer
OMG I was literally about to order one on Amazon full price, thank you!!
same for this year!!
Thanks yes. I ordered then came here đ
Thank u so muchđ
I think so I'll get 28mm...I can't decide
So I have thin hair which do u suggest?
Depends on your length or style you want
Thank you so much Bekah. Your hair looks gorgeous! I have med short VERY FINE hair. I would like the look of the 1" in curls but with my length of hair, what curling iron would you suggest? And any curls I have ever put in my hair, they slip out within an hour or so. My curls just slips through my hair! And again, what are the products you suggest? Also (sorry!) do you measure the circumference of the barrel of the curling iron to get the size of the iron? Thank you so much!
I would say the 1" would be fine for you. Make sure you're using a hold product before drying. Thickening spray by Bumble and Bumble is good. Or pure volume shampoo and conditioner by pureology to get some texture in it to hold your curls.
@@Bekah_and_co_prohair Thank you so much Bekah! I cannot wait to try it out this weekend!
You're welcome! Let us know how it goes!
Hey Bekah, if you brush out the curls made using the 1 inch iron a little more (after they have cooled), can you get it to look like the 1.25 inch iron result?
Yes!
Not always⊠it depends on your hair. If you tried before the cooked you might have a better chance, but then the curl wouldnât hold as well.
I love the 1 1/4 (32mm here in the UK??) but as someone with veeeery straight hair I think the 1 inch might be a safer option for me since my hair doesnât like to hold a curl at all đđ this was very helpful. Thank you! X
yes! 1" would be best for you. Also make sure you're using a good hold product before you dry. And maybe a volumizing shampoo and conditioner. Let me know if you want some recommendations
Thanks for the advice! My hair is super sleek straight so Iâll do the same
What are some good hold product? I know you recommended the Kerastase one but itâs not easily accessible in NZ
What is the length of the barrel for this extended length version? Thank you!
Iâm not sure. Thereâs a link in the description that will lead you to the specs.
Curlier or more textured hair is not necessarily âmessyâ, âdirtyâ, or âunprofessionalâ! I think both look great đ
Which size would you say gives more noticeable volume for thin hair?
Probably the 1"
I'm more of a no-heat girl right now, but those 1in curls are soo cute đđ
I totally get it!! Your hair is so beautiful with or without styling!! I should have you come on a teach us some braids. Do you still braid your hair a lot?
Aww, thanks! After cutting my hair last year I braid less, but I still like to braid my hair occasionally :) My favorite hairstyle right now is one that makes me feel like an elf from LOtR đđđ
Lydia Davis I approve! -b
This is a titanium curling iron?
I love the look of the 1-1/4" iron more than the 1' but I've heard that 1" is a lot more versatile. Soooo confused. My hair goes to the middle of my back. Also, I've heard a lot about Kristin Ess irons at a similar price point. Are they better than these? Thanks for the video and comparison!
I havenât used the Kristin Ess iron so Iâm not sure. Iâve used hot tools forever and have always had a good experience. 1â is definitely more versatile. You can always use the one inch and brush through the curls while they are still warm and you can get a similar look at the 1.25â
@@Bekah_and_co_prohair Thanks so much!
@@Bekah_and_co_prohairđ so you telling me Iâll be wasting my money if I want to get the 1.25 inches when I already own the 1 inch??
Thank you!
Youâre welcome đ§Ą
I literally scanned your video while in the aisles at Ulta today. Nobody was available to help me so I figured Iâd turn to CZcams, lol. Your content came in clutch. I went with the 1.25 curling iron. Thanks again!
Yay! That makes me feel good! Iâm so glad I could help đ
What is the good size for big beach waves?
1â brushed out.
I got 1 inch for longevity!!!! I like to curl my hair once and make it last to curly to wavy for 4 days!!!
Thank you!!!!
Great choice!
Tem link?
Was watching this at the store. Was about to get conier curling iron but got hot tool one and got one inch. I might get one 1/2 too. Who knows
đ§Ą
Thank you guys so much for watching! If you have any feedback, we'd love to hear it!
Both
If you have long hair the bigger waves work, but if you have collar bone length the bigger waves will fall out and be flat within 3 hours. The 1 inch lasts wayyy longer and continually looks good
Yes! Completely agree!
This is so true!!!!! I just tried the 1.25 inch yesterday after using my 1 inch all this time on my shoulder length hair and my waves/curls didn't last as long even though I used the same products and technique!
đ§Ą
What is the purpose of pre heating the strand?
It helps smooth the hair strand if itâs curly or frizzy and it helps distribute the heat more evenly so you can curl it faster/helps it curl better.
Wish my hair was this thin. I have to curl 3 separate layers, takes over an hour to curl everything and my hair is to my shoulders :(
When i saw this i was like god set hwr jusy for mwđđđ
Extended barrel!?! I have long think hair and the extended barrel will work better than the regular size barrel.
Yes!!! You need an extended barrel!
1 inch †like
I got the hot tools 3/4 inch yesterday
How do you like it?
@@Bekah_and_co_prohair itâs good for tight curls
I have a tiny tiny curling iron. I want to do a video just for fun
my hair is insanely thick....not sure I can do this!
Thatâs valid. Try taking smaller sections and give yourself time to practice!
Wonder if anyoneâs told you that you look quite similar to actress Olivia Colman!
Lol, yes⊠many time! đ
If anyone is watching Target is having 15% off hair tools, etc
Thank you! So helpful.
Yay! Youâre welcome
