I couldn’t agree more!!! Particularly Sam Heughan and Tobias Mendes were absolutely phenomenal!!! Some brutal scenes but the series stuck to the books and the 1700’s were a brutal time. At least Tobias has received some recognition for other roles, but Sam Heughan should have an Oscar, or Emmy for his role as Jamie Fraser. What a force of nature!

I've been meaning to give this series a try but was afraid it would be some clichéd, sappy, period piece of romance that's been so overdone. About a month ago, I started watching this and MY GOD, what the heck took me so long? I absolutely love this series; the storytelling, acting, sets, costumes and goodness, the most beautiful love story ever told on screen. The chemistry from the full cast but more importantly, Claire and Jamie in all its multi-faceted throes of all shades of passion as they discover and mature their love, I don't think could ever be matched OR would be difficult to. The actors do it so well, you can't help but root for the characters to always make their way back to one another. STARZ and this series hit the jackpot with the casting of Sam and Caitríona. What a wonderful role for Caitríona though. Claire has got to be one of the strongest female characters portrayed on television.
Sam says "i think we're losing them " looks at Tobias and they just sit giggling like 2 naughty school boys. Absolutely love this cast , they're always fun and bounce off of eachother. By far my favourite TV series cast.
Tobias is very shy and reserved. So good to hear the audience loves him as much as the Sam and Cait. Mrs. Diana is EXTREMELY gifted. She loves giving Sam a hard time🤣🤣. She better put that drink down🤣🤣
Diana is very tacky. She’s a brilliant writer, but the way she speaks to Sam in multiple interviews is super inappropriate. Not to mention that anybody who can write about extreme assault in a fictionalized way (let alone make jokes about it), probably has some mental issues.

Such a refreshing, authentic, honest piece of work that presents the most real personalities of each of these individuals involved in this phenomenal show. Watching it is better than any other interview I have seen in 7 years. The chemistry among these 5 people is beautiful and unique. It has enhanced my appreciation of Outlander today which is a huge statement given how much I have come to truly appreciate the magnificence of this series! This should be replayed on T. V. today. OMG: “rub this out” Cait re: Sam. “other world entity visiting”(moderator introducing Caitriona)…….Diana : “such courageous portrayal of sexual intimacy “ (Sam and Caitriona). “Von Trapp children” (Cait)……precious! Such an unbelievably incredible presentation of this epic cinematic masterpiece! THANK YOU!

Am I the only one thinking her saying “seeing him tortured and raped was the greatest thing” was a really weird and gross thing to say? Even as a joke that’s very insensitive.
That was a horrible way to put this. She seems to be showing off and is being mean to Sam. Bullying even. If she meant to be funny she failed. Also I found her rather too full of herself. Of course you gotta give her credit for creating the Outlander universe but a little bit of humbleness never killed nobody.

It's a shame they don't act like this anymore especially on stage . Here I am seeing a professional group of actors. Some laughters but overall there's respect. Now when I watch isee irritability, always joking, never taking the show seriously. Like the last one they recently did with Josh horowitz . It was awkward tension . By the time the series started, only books 1 to 7 had been written. I think Ron's comment had to do with that, with what they expected, that if season 1 went well, they would do the series until the last book published. at the moment. In the course of the years the other two books came out.
A woman who writes books that are mostly porn, punctuated with shocking violence? There is nothing very subtle about her. The premise and storyline are very good, so I read and watch these in spite of those factors, not because of them.
As Season 7 is in production I hear they will explain Jamie’s “ghost” standing outside in the rain watching Clair in the window upstairs in the Bed and Breakfast brushing her hair. Frank catches him and asks what he is doing. The ghost disappears as far as Frank sees. I really hope that when they explain it all, Jamie didn’t die in the 18th century, and Clair comes back thinking it’s safer for her, only to miss the time frame she was hoping for. That she comes back to Frank before she has ever “time traveled”. That she will never remember the happiness she had living with Jamie and actually having his daughter. That would just ruin the whole series for me. We deserve a better ending, so I hope I am wrong.
@@OutlanderRepublic When the series started there were only 7 books. That’s all the actors committed to. I have heard the major characters want to quit after season 7. They have done movies now and want to move on. I don’t know if STARZ will approve of more than 7 seasons also. We will see how it all turns out after season 7. I found DG's comment at 15:00 very disturbing and disappointing... to sexualize rape is horrible. I thought DG used it to show the brutality of that time, and how common it was. It seems like she has more sympathy when it happens to women, but not men.
Outlander will be ending in the next year or so. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching Outlander, especially Sam Heughan and Claire. Sam is a great actor, so genuine, and so very charming. “Claire” is the epitomi of devotion and love of “Jamie.” I feel sad to watch the ending of Outlander, and will probably be crying when “Jamie” dies. This has been the most magnificent Series I have ever watched in my life. ALSO, I wish I could afford your books, Diana Gabaldon (sorry if spelling is wrong), you are a great author. Congratulations! Your name will be known for many years ahead!

It's a shame they don't act like this anymore especially on stage . Here I am seeing a professional group of actors. Some laughters but overall there's respect. Now when I watch isee irritability, always joking, never taking the show seriously. Like the last one they recently did with Josh horowitz . It was awkward tension . I'm glad I'm not the only one seeing this.

By the time the series started, only books 1 to 7 had been written. I think Ron's comment had to do with that, with what they expected, that if season 1 went well, they would do the series until the last book published. at the moment. In the course of the years the other two books came out.

A woman who writes books that are mostly porn, punctuated with shocking violence? There is nothing very subtle about her. The premise and storyline are very good, so I read and watch these in spite of those factors, not because of them.

As Season 7 is in production I hear they will explain Jamie’s “ghost” standing outside in the rain watching Clair in the window upstairs in the Bed and Breakfast brushing her hair. Frank catches him and asks what he is doing. The ghost disappears as far as Frank sees.
I really hope that when they explain it all, Jamie didn’t die in the 18th century, and Clair comes back thinking it’s safer for her, only to miss the time frame she was hoping for. That she comes back to Frank before she has ever “time traveled”. That she will never remember the happiness she had living with Jamie and actually having his daughter.
That would just ruin the whole series for me. We deserve a better ending, so I hope I am wrong.

@@OutlanderRepublic When the series started there were only 7 books. That’s all the actors committed to. I have heard the major characters want to quit after season 7. They have done movies now and want to move on. I don’t know if STARZ will approve of more than 7 seasons also.
We will see how it all turns out after season 7. I was just saying I don’t want it to end up like I mentioned!

There will be many people upset, but it was just a thought that crossed my mind. How else do you explain Jamie’s ghost….

I found DG's comment at 15:00 very disturbing and disappointing... to sexualize rape is horrible. I thought DG used it to show the brutality of that time, and how common it was. It seems like she has more sympathy when it happens to women, but not men.
Outlander will be ending in the next year or so. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching Outlander, especially Sam Heughan and Claire. Sam is a great actor, so genuine, and so very charming. “Claire” is the epitomi of devotion and love of “Jamie.” I feel sad to watch the ending of Outlander, and will probably be crying when “Jamie” dies. This has been the most magnificent Series I have ever watched in my life. ALSO, I wish I could afford your books, Diana Gabaldon (sorry if spelling is wrong), you are a great author. Congratulations! Your name will be known for many years ahead!
