What scares me is that no one is talking about bike customization like different exhausts changing the sound of the bikes and improvement of suspension, tyres and brakes.
Why it scares you?
@@vvs6433 because its a big part of the game for me. And no one is talking about it, like it doesnt exist
@@leenel9385 it's the same that you have in ride 4, maybe some new exhausts for certain bikes, but essentialy the same. And the livery editor now have 2000 layers, in ride 4 just 1000.
While the games have gotten prettier, compared to Ride 2, it's still lacking content.
I wish they gave us a mechanic section including Dyno!!

Pc players can only play with pc players in multiplayer. You forgot to mention that you can rewind in the endurance mode.
no, that was with ride 4. They now changed that.

However, Ride 5 will only offer cross-platform multiplayer functionality between search PlayStation 5 and search Xbox Series X|S, allowing players on these consoles to play together. However, cross-platform multiplayer will not be available for PC players. On PC, players using the Steam platform can play with others using the Epic Games Store, but console players will not be included in this cross-platform feature.
@@NTJ666 And that absolutely suck and is the dumbest decision Milestone made. Same in MotoGP 23 which kills multiplayer way faster.
For what its worth, I just came across a roadblock that I can't get past in career on PS5, it's the 3rd series, full throttle, group of races 15 which is a championship. The races require a sports racing model bike, which can't be fitted with the street tyres so none of the bikes I have or can buy are eligible as it says street tyres are required. There are 4 races in the championship, I managed to do 3 with the only available loan bike, which has slicks anyway, but I can't do the 4th as it says street tyres are required even though it let me do the first 3 races, the weather is clear on the 4th race too, street tyres are only usually required if the race is or turns wet, so I can't progress past it towards the career related trophies, nice.
Just replay other races until you have enough money
@@popdatclutch3010 this was within a week or 2 of release, loads of progression related bugs that have probably been fixed by now

wouldnt work because they clearly havent figured out of to properly simulate it. Ride only works because the game is holding your hand and you drive on race track. Open world would very quickly show the weaknesses of their approach
This series is great for those who actually liked and enjoyed Tourist Trophy on the PS2
Another simulator with subpar rain graphics and immersion, developers need to give rain some love, that's basically 50% more track content and user experience for comparatively little effort

How does it compare to Rims Racing and Mans TT latest releases?
I read the physics are more realistic in Rims but overall Ride is better, talked to some guys today on another channel
Rims and TT are basically the same physics/handling, Ride 5 is definitely an improvement over Ride 4.
RiMS is the best handling you will find in a motorbike game.
I'd love to se ability to mod the game and add more tracks the community made. It would be awesome for ppl with less money to train in more tracks. I play this to train for real racing, so this is very important for me.
I LOVED Ride 4, I hope Ride 5 is at good as it for me.
It's the lack of content that makes Ride 5 & 4 really bad. Ride 2 had so much more content, they removed so much content with Ride 4 and 5.
Strange they removed, sequels should always add content not remove.

@@thehorizonracer9420 It will have DLC for sure with tracks and bikes but I get what you're saying if it already was in the old game. We gamers just have to stop supporting the business model. Mortal Kombat do the same. Old game you bought and got 24 characters not you buy and there are day 1 dlc with characters. It is quite annoying, it never feels like you get the full game anymore.

Why does your game look so good?? Mine is so grainy, even tho I play on a 4k screen with the hdmi that came with my Xbox.
Maybe some film grain setting? Check graphics options.

If you have a series s then you can’t expect anything graphically, it’s only slightly more powerful than a xbox one X

How about the tracks layout? is it better now? I find the Ride 4 tracks layout is very different from another game like Forza, GT, or MotoGP. I find Ride games tracks are not accurate based on another game that relatively consistent when playing them.

We need a game with TT physics & Rides variety of bikes & tracks. I play both & after playing ride 5 for the past week it is an entertaining game for sure, but it not only looks arcade on ps5, its physics are VERY arcade & the tracks have been smoothed out drastically for ease of play. Its so arcade that it negates the illusion of riding a bike & feels more like a NFS thing. If thats what you like then Ride 5 is definitely for you.
In terms of realistic physics, RiMS Racing is by far the best. A very realistic and true-to-life motorcycle sim.
@@thatfirstone I would probably have to agree. It's definitely the closest. TT3 to me feels like Rims physics toned down a bit & I think they are made by same developers. Shame Rims doesn't have more bikes & content.Same with TT3 actually.
I was on the fence buying this for how the handling and ai were in ride 4…. Definitely a better feeling game in my opinion

They aren’t great I’ll be honest. Rumble strips act super weird and the bike feels like it’s on rails
@@paytonlefevre3519 turn off the modulation stuff and all assists other than maybe auto gears, the turning, throttle and brake modulation make it feel weird lol can even do well with low or no traction control.
The steering wheel is supported in the game ?
No we only use the controller
If they add Mulholland drive "The Snake" from Ride 3, I'll buy this game. If not, it will be the first Ride game I don't own.
You can't do that you have to buy the collection!
Will stick to Ride 4 and IOM3 until this is on deep sale . Who knows maybe until then , they make it look next gen with updates

If you named this video Ride 4 Review I would've totally believed it because I don't see any differences between these two games.
The physics are a huge let down in this one, instead of making it tighter and better, they made it a lot worse. Still reserving my final thoughts for when I actually get hands on with the game, but by the looks of it, they are terrible, wobbly mess. Been riding powerful bikes for years and they don't even remotely behave like that. Not to mention withdrawn bike models to be sold as DLC later down the line, I am simply disappointed as a bike nut and racing game enjoyer.
They are much better than Ride 4.

Ride 3 and 4 have way better physics in my opinion. And in ride 5 you have the tutorial to get used to thr physics but they give you one of the fastest bikes in the game. I really dont like how the bikes handle in ride 5. Its disappointing
@@krunkikrofna precisely, past games were better, not sure why they went for more arcady physics in R5, they are especially bad with fast bikes, it's like the gyro effect is only on the fron wheel while the back wheel dances and wiggles like crazy. It makes the ride feel ridiculous.

Didnt they said the new AI had (ironicaly) AI in them? they could not teach the Neural Network to avoid crashing into the player?
It's the same of MotoGP from what I've seen, it's been the same for ages. I started to play MotoGP games since 2002 as a kid and the behaviour of "AI" was exactly the same
Love Ride4, especially the handling and physics but the structure and graphics aren’t great. Sounds like 5 fixes those 😌
Yo I know this sounds dumb but I just can’t get the Daytona time trial gold on career mode do you know anyway I could beat it and what bike I should use

is it normal that i am cornering even slower in this game? because if i corner like how i usually do, i will be understeering.
I got good on ride4 and played the trial for 5 and found it instantly difficult to corner. Couldn't see any lean button which is strange...
Why does the crapy ai crash into you? Even from behind they take you out. Makes game pointless!!!
Find it really hard to justify the €110 price
Check out a direct comparison and then tell me Ride5 looks better than Ride4 ... it doesn't, especially in the rain.

Without a doubt this is the worst bike game I ever played. 4 was so much more advanced it's insane. No leaning anymore just neutral analogue to do it, racers constant crashing into U so it's unplayable, braking is shite, cornering good but shite coz U can't turn without getting crashed into.
They have completely destroyed playing In pov, I don't buy them to play in arcade mode like U are, I play properly In pov but can't in this game as they remove everything! No speed, gear or anything visible and can't even hear engine over other engines to know if U need to shift.
Honestly the game is absolutely dog shit and I'm genuinely gutted as im gonna have to sell it and continue with 4

Clearly better racing games? Tell me which bike game is bettwr than ride games? There is no forza and gran tourismo like competition here.
Kind of disappointed there is no ranked or anything its just races and money and thats it , you don't have to sweat to earn something like a higher rank with prize pools of money of bikes or anything , I get that this is more a laid back motorbike racing game but it just gets boring too quickly without any actual challenge other than the AI
I wish we can get these kind of graphics in car racing games lol. iRacing still looks like trash even though they are getting bigger and bigger.
