I don't know to explain this... I have been meditating for about two weeks now on one specific scripture. This morning as I lay awake the voice said to me go pray and I made my way to my prayer room without hesitation. I have to admit that my prayer life is already explosive and full of fire, but this morning while fervently praying in tongues I found myself still meditating on the Word at the same time. I never felt that much power in my prayer unless I have been fasting a few days. I couldn't stop the prayer flowing from my lips! It was energized by the power of God. It's the first time it happened to me. So just now, I got to my computer to put on some worship music and I saw the title of your sermon looking at me "Praying in Tongues while Meditating. God Bless you!

Same here. I was confused when the lord started leading me on both , but this video has confirmed it to me. The most important thing I also learned about praying in tongues through this video, is that it breaks up a fallow ground (our heart), so the word can go into our spirit.

Wow Im so blessed by these teachings. Thank you for the sermon notes. I follow along as it is being taught. I find my mind does wander and have gotten in the habit of listening to teachings on the benefits of tongues while doing it. It keeps me motivated to continue. I feel like praying in spirit is akin to going to spiritual gym and just like going to the normal gym, the last thing your flesh/body wants to do is workout. However if you maintain the discipline in time you become fit and strong. Similarly, praying in tongues makes you into a spiritual powerhouse. I become less carnal, agitated, anxious, etc. Things seemingly roll off my back compared to when I don't. It also helps me to operate in my giftings more easily since I submit to the Holy Spirit more readily. I could go on and on. It really makes a difference

Thank you for the video. Lord teach me how to speak in tongues. My desire all these years has been to speaking in tongues. Holy spirit manifest your glory upon me to speak in tongues in the name of Jesus.
For many years I kept seeking, desiring, reading books, etc. on how to get the gift of tongues. Most of my believer friends seemed to have experienced it supernaturally out of the blue, etc. But not me; perhaps due to my strong analytical mind, I often guessed. Finally one day I felt inspired to pray loud for long enough; I prayed continuously for 1 or 2 hours and automatically i just slipped into tongues. From that day on I could speak in tongues anytime I wanted. (A different question whether I used the gift enough over the subsequent years or not!) Now, how many people can pray normally/with logical mind for more than a few minutes? I had to press on in logical prayer for long enough before I slipped into tongues. Just sharing my experience in case it helps some who are seeking the Lord for this. Blessings!

First it was Jesus that was anointed first with the Holy Ghost (Luke 3:21-22, Luke 4, John 1:32-34), declaration from John baptizer that Jesus shall baptize us with the Holy Ghost and with fire (Luke 3:16, Acts 1:5, 8, 2:), Acts 10. Study these scriptures listed. Hearing the word, laying on of hands, it's different every time. But it was never a taught activity. Finally, Ask the Lord for His evidence, which is: the evidence of the Holy Spirit is speaking in tongues. It's not brain activity, it's not a thought, because one can compose words to write at same time speaking in other tongues. And it's been proven by science that there is no brain activity when person is speaking in tongues. "Father, You are the giver and You anointed Your son, in the name of Jesus, I'm asking that You would anoint, baptize your child with Your Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, thank you, thank you, Amen.
