Knowing what happens next is both a blessing and a curse. It's a curse because you know what exactly the person is going to realize the tragedy of it all. It's a blessing cause you know when the person is about to burst into tears.

I distinctly remember the first time I watched the first episode of Arcane. After the first scene was over, I thought: "Ok. This show managed to make me cry in under 3 minutes. Here we go."
...And then the REST of the show happened!
So many little things in every scene. Just one example: in the first scene, after all the pain of their parents dying and Vander adopting them, the camera pans up away from the smoke and flames, and we see that Piltover is still gleaming, indifferent to the distruction.
Someone need to create a shirt that reads, " That's messed up man, and I dropped my fridgey cube!".

Who knew that only 9 episodes of arcane can cost so much shocking and emotional moments. episode 3 and 9 was really intense and shocking and I was one of the most suspenseful shows I’ve ever watched

Considering she reacted that poorly in the first episode, I could immediately tell this series was gonna be rough for her.
At the end when Jinx shot the rocket, I watched a separate video, just of that, and I read a comment saying that Jinx lived up to her name. They were about to get their independence, and she, well, jinxed it. Also this show is amazing, and these cliffhangers suck, especially the ending. The writers really know how to break us!
The deal was contingent on Silco giving them Jinx, in his dying breath he admitted he would never do it. The vote was pointless (which makes sense, the council apathy led to this whole mess. Too little, too late.)
@@turtlepope7802 Agreed, and it is a point that everyone misses. No jinx, no peace. And after that, with Silco dead there isn't anyone to enforce the Zaun part of the deal, so thats reason number 2 for the peace agreement to fail. The point of the council agreeing is to show that they were ready for the peace agreement, making them feel like it was over. Jinx hit them right when they were at their highest moment. You better believe that they will have no interest in peace in season 2. If any of them are alive.
@@Rwscienceguy My thoughts are that what Jinx did at the end, was coming nonetheless - Silco wanted a Nation of Zaun free of Topsiders, but at the same time, he really hated them. Pilltover would never let the Zaun be free of their influence. Jayce accepted the peace offering, just because he saw what war can do to people ( his people, more as Vi told him, that death of the child is nothing traumatic below) , but not because he thought they deserve it.
Zaun is a chaos, even under Silco regime it was a mess. Jinx is just a byproduct of it, that's why Silco told her, she is perfect - she is an avatar of Zaun, his Zaun. Chaotic, broken, genius. What Jinx did, was her personal riot to Piltovers "You took everything from me, now I will take everything from you" and a epitome of Zaun, which is... Well " Fuck You. You dont know shit about us".
what broke me about the ending was the few frames of singed and his new experiment. Vander is Warwick confirmed. That will be traumatic to watch in season 2.

Just imagine. Just imagine MY ASS. LIKE. A MONTH AFTER THIS CAME OUT. I saw that at ending and I was like "NO." and I just restarted from episode one and rewatched it all over again.
Just because my brain didn't want to process HOW FUCKING LONG IT TAKES to produce animate something like this. I can't even believe I have been a functioning human being since december 2021 and that we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

@@bloodwire7152 I do not actually know anything about Karma. I do know Riot from time to time has changed their character's lores to fit the narrative of the new direction they want to take the game in.

Karma is the spirit of Ionia, like the country personification that inhabits a person and move to another when that person dies, transfering the experiences of that person to the next, kinda like Raava from Avatar. Mel could've shielded the others, her clothes were shining and all that, but not by using Karma tho

Wrong. The deal for peace was "hand over Jinx or no peace", Jayce talked with them over the deal and they agreed to it by vote but still the main point is Silco to hand over Jinx...which he said he would never do that so "no peace" anyway
