    ►Who we are:
We strive for a world in which buildings do not waste energy.
By realizing the SIGA vision, global energy consumption could be reduced by 30%. Global warming is also the result of poorly insulated buildings. 40% of global energy consumption is used for heating and cooling indoor air. Yet 10% is enough if buildings are properly insulated. But to this day, most of the heated or cooled indoor air escapes uselessly and uncontrolled through leaky roofs, walls, ceilings and floors.
SIGA, the Swiss family business from Lucerne, produces an all-round tight, energy-efficient building envelope made of membranes, sealing tapes and sealants. Heat and cold stay outside and only a small amount of energy is required for cooling and heating.
"We are striving for a world of zero energy loss buildings" is SIGA's vision. Every day, 600 employees in 25 countries make their contribution to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and thus averting the climate catastrophe.
