  • In this Interview, 26AR Speaks on what it was like for him growing up in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn. He says that at an early age he was into playing basketball and being involved in the streets but at some point, because the streets was so readily accessible, he gravitated to that more. The Brooklyn rapper says that between the ages 13 and 16, he was arrested between 7 to 9 times.
At the age of 17, he was wrapped up in a gang indictment which cost him 4 years of his life in a state prison. He says that it was there that he developed his love for rapping and made plans to pursue music when he was released. After 26AR was released from prison, he released his first video “Aaron Rodgers”.
