Actually i disagree with you about SM. SM have always been known to produce the best live vocalists in the industry. Compared to the talents of their groups, Blackpink can't really compare.

theyre all incredible, ahyeon's stagepresents is insane but i hope YG gives her more vocal training, because now shes just so chaotic and totally not stable in her vocals (sorry but am i the only one who feels like YG puts her in a spot where she has to belt a lot, which for now, seems more like screaming, hope they dont overuse that or hope that she gets trained on that part, apart from that she's still my bias
To help you understand, each distribution of lines in the song, they all sing them one by one.
Then the producers will re-record it, and then they will decide who they will give the lines to.
That's why the line was given to Ahyeon because she was the only one who could pull it off.
All the producers and YG go through a critical decision-making process, and there are revisions, and it's clear why Ahyeon was chosen because she was the only one who could hit that high note.
They also have voice coaching, after the music is produced, their voice coaches need to check if it suits the singers. Clearly, all of these were intentional and not just randomly assigned to them.
