So I noticed a LOT of parallels between the relationship between Dean Winchester and Castiel on Supernatural and that of Evan "Buck" Buckley and Eddie Diaz on 9-1-1.
Like this is only 15, there are probably loads more but I had to make something to showcase it.
Considering how SPN ended, that probably isn't an optimistic thing for us Buddie fans, but hey we can dream! Also, this kinda ended up as a bit of a crack video, it was meant to be serious but hope y'all enjoy it anyway!

The fact that the only reason Buck wasn't shot by the sniper right after Eddie was that he wasn't wearing his uniform.... He could have died because he was so shocked
When Buck's mom showed up at 6:14, I was so confused. I was like, is this a deleted scene from 9-1-1? Then I realized that the clip was from Supernatural.
I swear to the EMS gods and every god in SPN, if the 911 writers make Buddie canon the SAME WAY the SPN writers made Destiel canon, I will bring on Ragnarok.
Imagine if after the shooting and in the meantime that buck put pressure on eddie's wound and told him to hold on, eddie had looked him in the eyes and with a last effort whispered "I love you" before closing his eyes and losing consciousness. And buck just looking at him in shock like "w-what..?" and just be able to say "hold on, we're so close".
I think I would have died, like my heart could not take that. First with Destiel and now Buddie. Also Eddie was dying and he asked Buck if he was okay, like sir, you just got shot
This was so perfect, the parallels between the two ships and even the characters themselves, I loved this

And about the idea of Buck and Eddie's endgame being settled with just a mere bromance: resolution in Art is about "forbidden love", "return from a long voyage", "rescue from dire straits", "vengeance and justice acomplished" or "sacrifice and redemption". These have been the worthy, valuable and cherished endgames for thousands of years since lengthy and meaningful storytelling was invented by humankind for humankind. "Bromance" has never been included within the categories mentioned above. That is why bromance is such a bad idea for an endgame. Forbidden love may or may not apply and happen in this entirely fictional story for these characters but it would be the only emotionally satisfactory resolution for their trajectories together. Any other ending would be a very lukewarm, insipid and tepid solution with no drama, gracefulness, congruity and elegance at all.

I know it's regarded as canon but my comment at the end of the video was more a case of 'I hope we get a happier ending for Buddie than Destiel'. Because I hate the way they ended Dean and Cas's story.

@@DumbassesInLove supernatural was not invested that much in romantic life of the 2 main characters which they are 2 brothers imagine they will making one gay it's not like i'm against the idea but it wouldn't be really fit ,911 on the other hand is different we already have main gay characters + we have more drama in this show so who knows if the writers really which to give us buddie they can just i hope they will do it right is not easy to make gay couples out who have been dating only girls but if they dont wich to do that and just build a beautiful bromance they should stop queerbaiting i know we only had one moment in S4 when TK hinted on buck bisexuality but jjust stop it why keeping this shit if you are making buck straight
@@crazydriver7006 And even then, the 911 season 4 finale was LITERALLY a finale for Buck and Eddie, like who didn’t think they were going to kiss at the end when they were on the hospital bed💀 Would’ve been too great to even have just a hug or even them getting a little bit closer, but this finale would’ve been even more amazing/offending with that sort of scene. The writers realised that they didn’t do much queerbaiting with Buddie this season so they went all out with a finale where Buck kind of becomes Chris’s 2nd dad at this point AND make out with Taylor of all damn people in the same episode, I can't take this anymore if they are not gonna be endgame💀
