Glad I found your video. I'm closing in one section of a three part window and carved out the short bricks. I know now how to fill in the brick properly.

great work lads!
Just bumped into this video after I have finished resizing 3 windows in my house, but this video shows I took the right approach doing this.
I had a messy looking side wall with windows in different heights and shapes put in every time a new extension was made before I bought the house, but having to replace my aged window frames I decided to make everything look more uniform and bring window sills and lintels to the same height and windows the same width were a first floor window was right above a level floor window.
Does look a lot better, just as the new window in the video, I don't like the look of these slot ventilators at the top of the window, it makes a house so 1960-70's (worst period in building design).
Love the everyday uploads bro
Cheers Spence, we can get going when the weather is good 👍
Great job stu as always 👌🏼🙏🏼
Cheers David buddy

that window looks fucking mint mate!!!
Excelent boss
Tidy job lads, quality work.
Cheers Karl mate happy Saturday
Subscribed for saving the bee :)
If you get a tight brick I use a clip joint , that’s where you shave a few mill off the end of a brick using your trowels edge and a brick on edge as a guide, you end up with a false perp joint but it looks normal
3 things
Teach me
Teach me
Ur work is really good quality and
Teach me
Looking at getting something similar done, can I ask what this roughly costed from start to finish?
Great videos :)
What type of bricks did you use on the inside? The ones you could saw to size? Great vid.
Great work as usual only 1 question though if that window had to be taken back out fir any reason (I know lokely won't but....) wouldn't it be a pain as the fixings on one side are from the opposite direction so csnt be unscrewed from window side ? Just curious ....in no way undermining your work as ive seen lots of great work you do (I'm a bricky btw) cheers keep them coming
Cracking job pal
Thanks Teven hope you’re enjoying the videos 😁
stu crompton they are very inspiring my friend, your doing a good job
Steve
thanks mate
Stu buddy your work looks brilliant. Do you have any good contacts for builders down in Hampshire??
Hi Stu, what sort of cavity closer have you used here? Thanks
Great job Team Crompton! I reckon you like your music Stu. I like your choices - how about putting the music into the Info header?
Matt Cartwright I've been liking the tunes, makes the video.
That bee would've freaked me out!
Great video stu keep up the great work best bricklayer on CZcams mate
Adam Gale I
Perfect, i never see good bricklayers.
Oh jog on there’s 1,000’s of us 🤷🏼♂️
What's a good drill bit for removing the old grout holding the brick? Just a regular masonry drill bit?
i hate when you get a long brick in nova scotia the same pallet can range from 185 mm to 200 makes bonding a pain
good work save the bezzzzz :-)
I just came here for the guitar solo 😂
nice
👷 COMPO !!!
Hi Stu how did you fix the cavity closer?
What about when the next bloke comes along to change the windows? will be cursing you for those ties haha
well i will be changing them so i will know :)
stu crompton not really you might not be working in 10 years , you should have come back put fixing from inside later
Do you have a video on enlarging a widow size?
Hi friend how would you put mastic onto a outside wall o. House need to do mine.. Hope you can help.... Pete
That kc seems like a right shirker
Hi Stu, what does a job like this cost a customer? just looking for a ball park figure.
Thanks!
Hi stu what did you charge to do these two windows ?
How did you attach the left side of the window to the old bricks?
What type of brick did you use on the inside?
Just a quick question do we require planning permission to reduce window size ?
Yeah I need this done at my garage which is made out of blocks not bricks can this still be done????
You laid all bricks in one go?
應該用海綿沾水,將切痕灰削搽乾淨,會更完美。
謝謝
GOOOOOD
IRAQ BAGDAD
Always amazing to watch you work. What are the blocks that you were cutting with a hand saw?
Nice Job Stu, but not a good idea to screw wall ties to the window frame, if you need to take the window out half the wall comes with it, screw window frame to wall after.
Can’t do that because the mortar takes weeks to go off properly, if it needs to come out in time a good fitter checks for clips like this 👍
Do you work in Surrey?
Ello, handsome stu and surgeon kc, nice music traxs..who is this band playing on the first song? I like the guitar solo...I can't wait to try one of your projects and I will definitely post it.,,awesome work again gents.
The 4 inch blocks inside; not concrete? Styrofoam?
exerlent work m8 but you could do with showing more of the brick work at normal speed for some of the young lads to help them with hints and tips
I have videos at normal speed on www.bestbricky.com don’t put them on CZcams because video would be too long
@@Stucrompton1 hi m8 is the web site free
no the pro lesson arent free im afraid
