saw one for $7k, 150k miles.. test drove it and fell in love. had to wait for my tax return and someone got it the day before. devastating. then we saw one in cali for 7.7k and I sent them all my stuff to get a purchase agreement and they said someone bought it online an hour before me.. :'( crushed.. i'm not even sure if the actually had the car or if they were just generating a sales lead but they tried to offer some of the 2020 models but they are like 9-10k and out of my budget for now. i've sold one of my two cars now in preparation for when the next deal comes along and trying to save the difference in the meantime but it will pay for itself in a year doordashing vs gas.
just got a premier version yesterday. loving it so far... 300lb 6'4 and leg room is awesome

I'm looking to buy a used 2017 Chevy Bolt.
I have a 2017 Prius 2 eco and a 2017 Bolt. The 2 eco is the most efficent 2017 prius you can buy. For me it cost around .05 cents per mile to run the prius on average. My off peak electric rate is .09 cents per Kwh where i live. It cost me .02 cents per mile to operate the bolt (averages around 3.2 to 4 miles per Kwh). When you look at the premium for the prius the bolt is about 9,000 dollars cheaper with the included 4000 dollar point of sale used EV incentive for 2024. So the Bolt comes out ahead of the prius again. I trust Toyota as a company more than Chevy, but the numbers make the bolt very attractive as an around town car.

My wife's Hyundai had just a tire inflater kit and the one time We had a tire losing air I removed the compressor from its bubble wrap and plugged it into the power point and guess what, yep it did not work. So, we drove like hell to a known gas station with a air hose to inflate and make it to a tire store. As soon as we got home, I went online and ordered a spare tire kit which included a donut tire and wheel, a jack and a wrench to loosen the lug nuts. It fit in the trunk perfect and even included the bolt to fasten it down, so it does not rattle.
