I love Bobby Rush he still have the girls my family on the Bradfordville Blues Club in Tallahassee Florida. I've been seeing b Bobby Rush the since I was 13 years old and now I'm 34 one of the underrated Blues musician now and back then I love Bobby Rush.
I seen Bobby Rush at a soul fest in S. Louis, and I really wanted to get a picture of me and him shaking hands, and I got up there and got my pictures taken. He gave me a real good power handshake, but they had to process the picture, so me and my GF came back after the show and picked up the picture. Bobby was thronged by black girls and I didn't know how I was gonna get him to sign the picture. Well, my GF was a good-looking blond white girl, and she yells out, "Hey Bobby, sign my picture!" He zooms right in on her and then I walk up with the picture of him and me, and he looked puzzled but he signed it - hee hee!
Nope... Just a show without them or his band. Sometimes he travels for does a few shows with stand-ins. This group is good, but this is not the "real" Bobby Rush experience.

Same here... Bobby Rush is the best. I have been listening to him since I was 14/15 and now I am 31. Met him many times.
Bobby Rush breaks down the origins / roots of east coast rap in less than 4 minutes. 🎶
I just heard about him today on N.P.R. Folowed B.B. King, Muddy, Guy etc. Excellent, real and handsome.
That's is the one and only close to my heart... hold me--- my BOBBY RUSH!
