I must totally agree, leave them on the shelf. I have a couple of players I collect and will probably wait a bit and go to a place like ComC and grab them all for a buck or two.

I love the base design on these so I ripped two hobby boxes and was a bit disappointed that I didn’t pull all the Season tickets. Not only that but the only difference in season tickets between the boxes was the pack with the parallel card. I’ll know better next time and will wait until I can grab the missing cards on comc rather than invest more money in these blasters.
I may tip another if and when prices come down. I love the look of contenders but it needs more parallels

Great video, live the channel. Those retail boxes keep staying on the shelves longer and longer. Zenith for instance you get a mem that sells for 2 dollars on eBay and that will be your best card in the box. No luck with donruss or prizm either for the most part. With that being said I've never been able to make my money back on a retail box.

Only time I got a Hit out of Contenders was when I purchased a Hobby Box..Pulled a Nice Johnathan Taylor On card auto out out of 10... Other than that straight CACA lol.. love your vids AP, Thanks for ripping

I ordered one of these blaster on target and watching this video makes me regret it, I also bought the one from last year, it was rough I got a rookie pat frieumuth patch
I like the lottery ticket feel of it but that also makes me want to buy less than other comparable products haha

I don’t like how they only use a bit of the card to show the player! Cards should have a player covering at least 75% of it

Ive actually seen more autos come out of these than past years so i got extremely unlucky haha but the rpas are still tough to pull congrats!

That seems to be the sad reality with these. Ive heard of some people getting decent hits but of course we dont hear about the majority of people who hit nothing in these

Man it’s hard to justify breaking anything right now when 2022 rookies are saturated. I’m winning bids on obsidian, immaculate and prizm rpa’s , swatches , #s for $10-30.
Ive been doing a lot of the same! Singles are too good right now to pass up for high end sets. I just bought a drake london honors auto for $50… thats a $900 box lol

@@AcmePacks boycott panini. That's the only answer. And boycott them with the intention and satisfaction of never returning back to their awful patronizing product. After opening this I got a justin Herbert supernatural and a tim jones auto. Do you know who tim jones is? No you don't, I don't, and nobody does. I'm buying leaf and wildcard products from now on. I'm also going to buy the older fleer, upperdeck, topps, and true vintage cards. To hell with pasquale

This stuff is garbage! Always has been, imo.
For the life of me I can’t understand why anyone prefers the Contenders crazy auto! Even with the cracked ice, their still plane Jane to me. Then again, I also think prizm is WAY overrated! Donruss has been around forever, it’s affordable to nearly everyone and imo, the Rated Rookie should be the premier Rookie card. Especially since it’s usually one of, if not the first, card of the year with players wearing their professional uniforms.
i prefer optic autos over everything but thats because i love the classic rated rookie
