    Hi. Daniel and Max. Thanks for your honest review of Tynee Explorer. Many customers may be confused for the range. Because Max use the highest speed and it had max speed and max current. So it will get less range. And the max speed will also be affected by the battery. If the battery is not 100% full. It’s possible that the max speed will drop. So no worries. Thank you.

    Thanks for clearly showing how real world range conditions are very different from the advertised range. I would like e-board companies to understand that a lot of riders would REALLY appreciate a more "real world" range advertised as well as a warranty that is impressive and inspires confidence.

      For me personally, a wooden deck should expose as much as possible from this natural material. If I am changing the stock grip tape, then I would replace it with even more parts with clear tape ;D. I find the design of the top of the board to be simplistic, beautiful and following the deck's geometry. Is there a way to order it with a custom text on the top and keep the Tynee logo on the bottom?

If I'm over 40 km an hour and I hit bumps the same distance apart it can try to throw me off . That's my only complaint and if you know how to ride that shouldn't be to bad . Topside I as well don't know what is missing but it looks not that WOW (I'm not a graphic designer). Don't get me wrong, I love the wood look! I love that they invest in setup, but I want and need to know the individual cell info (had a unbalanced battery pack once so it's really important how your battery pack is handling). I don't understand the 'power' and 'acceleration' setting. What's the difference? Power = torque and even top speed (depending on restrictions). Again, love the direction they're going 👌. Great video, thanks DKwan! 🤙

      @Tyneeboard Před 2 lety +2

      Hi. Sorry to make you confused. When we measure the range. We use a slow mode (20-30 kmh speed). So we can get longer range. In the video Daniel said max use Highest speed. And the current of highest speed is very high. So it gets less range. If you use range mode. It will get even more range. So no worries.

      @@Tyneeboard You should make that clear on your site if it isn't already. I don't know anyone that regularly rides in slow mode and using it so you can post a higher range than anyone will ever get is kind of dishonest and going to lead to unhappy customers. Obviously there are a ton of factors that go into determining but customers want to know real world range, what they will actually get not what is theoretically possible in lab settings. I see a lot of companies posting different ranges for different weights which can be helpful.

    Hello, nice review! It made me think about getting this board. I like flexy decks with visible wooden material. I have a few additional questions:
    - I am wondering if any non-pneumatic off-road tyres (like the cloudwheel rovers) would fit the board without a conversion kit?
    - I am a fan of the design of the Evolve Bamboo GTR, its lower weight and the versatility it gives in terms of swappable battery packs (the small one is good for short commutes and saves enen more on board weight). Sure, the Bamboo is already older tech and comes with its flaws but is now priced the same as the Explorer. That's why I am wondering which one to choose...

      Hey, sorry for the late reply, didn't get the notification.. I watched Alex and DK's review for the Bamboo AT Pro and I am currently torn between Ownboard Bamboo and Tynee Explorer.
      - The Explorer has more powerfull motors and a build in heatsink. I want to have a higher deck, but my area has a lot of thorns in the green fields. I have punctured my mountainbike tyres countless of times.. So I need 6 inch NON-Pneumatic or Honeycomb all-terrain tyres that fit the board.
      - The Bamboo is a bit cheaper and even looks a bit cooler (especially with the hexagon griptape). It has the honeycomb wheel option but the current possition of the motors is too close to the ground, especially with small cloud wheels. Even with 6-7 inch tyres it is possible to hit rocks or bumps on rough terrain. I wonder if the height of the motors could be adjusted?

    I’m really wondering what Tynee’s new ESC is based on. I highly doubt they’d put in all the R&D to create a completely proprietary ESC from scratch. Just seems a little wasteful to design one from scratch instead of basing it on another ESC like the VESC project.
    My guess is they probably followed in Backfire’s footsteps and created a VESC-based ESC for this board, which would definitely be a smart move. Or possibly a Hobbywing with upgraded hardware and custom firmware. Either way, the amount of customization this thing offers via the remote’s menu system is very impressive. Meh just an evolve clone. Propel or nothing.

      Umm Lacroix, fluxmotion and Kaly would like a word. Propel is still pretty new to the game and just can't stop raising prices. I remember when the endevour S first released it was only $900! No they have the s2 but the s1 is still $1200, 33% more than when it was released and that's not even including their expensive as shipping that they tag on at the end while most other companies simply include it in the cost. Propel makes some decent board but I think they are too overpriced. Why get a pro2 when I could get a fluxmotion at2 for nearly the same price?

      @@l3rlc Cause the flux motion trucks are dog shit. The flux AT2 should just come with street wheels because any off road riding would be a bouncy, stiff and uncontrollable ride. Propel offers the best bang for the buck at the moment with independent suspension trucks and better cells in their batteries and comes with true alloy wheels, its really hard to beat their value in the esk8 industry.
