I love how they came in with the background vocals. A lot of these older R&B groups hate each other sadly. But seeing and hearing this, you feel the sisterhood and true friendship. DOPE!

The writing genius of B.A Morgan just was levels ahead. How artistic of him to articulate his feelings in such a way. SWV encapsulated it so well. I always thought the music video didn't serve the song the way it should but those VOCALS sure did.
I don't know how Coko found it hard to sing as that lady can sing an alphabet and slay it. Harmonies GORGEOUS!!!
She just threw that line out there so people can say, "Well, GIRL, you sure did that!" People sometimes say stuff like that fishing for compliments.
@@faithtvonline she was probably used to singing gospel music and more runs. This is much cleaner. You can see in their older live versions that shes adds runs and a lot of ad libs, which makes sense because her voice is very agile.

This is funny because, I always imagine them doing maybe a six song EP where they sing their hits, rearranged in an acoustic format. I'd love to hear that! I think it would highlight their beautiful harmonies. The richness of their individual tones because people always doubt that Lelee and Taj can sing. They may not have Coko's technique or vocal power, but they each are distinctive and very capable in their own right.

Wow they still sound amazing. Weak was written and inspired for Chante Moore, but meant for SWV to have. I couldn't imagine any other vocal arrangement and only SWV can create that sound!
Weak was written about Chanté Moore not written for her. Brian Alexander Morgan was deeply in love with Chanté but she was dating a friend of his. So Brian put his heart and love for her in this song Weak. This was around late 80's-early 90's before her first album came out and they were living in the same apartment complex.
The song was written and inspired by his love for Chante Moore, but the song was for Charle Wilson, but he turned it down.
