- In this segment of my adventures, DRE TV journeys to the northeastern side of Trinidad to visit the turtle village of Grand Riviere. We spent one night at the famous Acajou Hotel, and explored the Grand Riviere Beach which is popular for leather back turtle nesting. We lounged in the hammocks, and enjoyed the tasty delicacies offered at the local Restaurant. Nature was present in every way, and we had the privilege to be a part of it with the feeling of safety at the hotel.

It’s nothing to them because this is all they know, it becomes their normal. Our country is amazingly beautiful, it’s sad that sometimes after only traveling and experiencing somewhere else you start to appreciate what you have.
We do. Now a lot of people crying to come back home.
That because the main focus is promoting tourism for carnival and Tobago no encouragement or intrest in promote tourism outside of carnival in Trinidad they hide all these beautiful places from the public its a shame

Yes, it’s a nice place. Be mindful of turtle season as it’s really booked up, and you would require a permit to visit the beach.

There is the restaurant at the venue, and also, there may be small shops on the road in the neighboring village

Trinidad the country, the land, itself is nice.. it's the way the people here have treated it who turned it into a labasse and make it ugly and discouraging to adventure into

They are somewhat the same. Large families usually rent out multiple cottages at once when visiting the hotel.

Great video have you been to mystic mountain ? Check Uchenna Hacket in San Juan area great experience there you would see the water fall of the Lady and the Lion the is great for hiking

Thanks for saving my time. Love the place.. but, i can get the same ... more reasonable. A lot of what makes it beautiful is free.. Nah❕ bachelor Fridge, basic furniture and de hammock.... 2 star accommodations. Maybe if it was usd $50 to 75 i would visit. They need to do better with that price. 🥴😑
