I like the detail where the blood comes out of her neck in her 3rd ascension's NP. It's a sad detail because she was about to becomes Hidetsugu's concubine only to become a victim to Hideyoshi's non-sense and was forced to commit seppuku. Rikyu also died the same way thanks to Hideyoshi.
Okay wait wth. Now that you mentioned it, the start of np has her blood running down from her neck, but the close up doesn't have it... that's really off-putting
I guess they share the same fate so thats why their spirit origin end up fused and become like this

I don't think they will force non-combatants to commit seppuku as a form of execution, she was likely beheaded. Rikyu did get forced to commit seppuku but it would seem that Hideyoshi later regretted this decision
This is one of the darkest and saddest servant based of a real life person. Its one thing when you give a warrior who got a grizzly end or some asshole who got its ass biten for something they did a second chance to dosomething, but both parts of Komahime and Rikyu were literally killed for fuck nothing and are now vengeful spirits, even sadder for Komahime who was killed by the equivalent of being a day one worker in a company who got a scandal and everyone there got fucked by it.

For those who keeps asking how to unlock this kind of ascensions it's basically the same as Douman and Oberon where you need to have the actual servant in order to unlock this also along clearing specific main quest... If you don't have the actual servant your can't unlock their special ascension instead you will be stucked at their 1st and 2nd ascension
Also yea even if your friend does have that particular servant you still can't use their 3rd ascension even if you cleared the main quest to unlock it
how about if you already have one but cant finish the event story due to being a new players?
Yeah, I would like to ask the same question above. If you have her, will you still have access for her main quest to unlock the ascension art despite being only on lower main story progress?
@@farizahmad3036 id assume the event restriction gets removed upon the end of the event and youll just need stage 3 ascension

Now i do like her more. Not only her design is both cuter and creepier, but also her NP is a lot more enjoyable to play. 🖤

To anyone concerned about her blood tears: Yea they are still here. Chances for me so far are 50/50, but ig its the same as any other servant with unique animations.

Oh. I thought the one with blood tears is her 3rd ascension. That was more cool looking. Honestly though, I prefer rikyu more than this ascension just because it's a different voice, and the extra attack has more impact. I do like some of the attacks she use where she plays Japanese children games and the... koto's (? Not sure what instrument exactly) dissonant tune is really good. Her voice just makes her a bit generic (battle-wise) now though... And I like rikyu's menacing tea ceremony and her opened mouth in NP.
Her bloody tears is probably a special NP animation, like Summer Kama's wink

The vid only had one np line (I was hoping to see the equivalent of Rikyu's menacing "Kurokku" np line) but it's still off to not see blood when she had her neck bleeding at the start of np. That detail made me like her a bit (Details of death are important on a ghost's grudge.)
After unlocking it in-game, I can confirm it is just another version you can get every time you do the NP. It's fortunately not enemy-only.

@@tissueaddict2033 After using it a few more times to make sure I wasn't going insane, it seems to be extremely rare. I only got if again after something like 20 tries. She seems to have two variations without blood streaming down her face, and one with. I don't know if I was just unlucky, but I got the other two way more often.
Did anyone notice when she shoots beams from the giant hand fingers saying "Koma Beam"? I think it's just really cute

Y'know, I had this wild thought like 3 yrs ago about having Jigoku Shoujo (Enma Ai) in FGO but, of course, this is kind impossible since the only crossovers allowed on it are strictly related to Nasuverse and etc still, I guess this is quite equivalent to it and I'm happy nevertheless. Considering the life expectancy all over the world before modern sanitation and healthcare it was pretty reasonable to marry at teenage ages, moreso if it was a political marriage.
My understanding is that just wanting revenge on one person isn't enough to become an avenger and instead usually leads to being a zerk (e.g. Penthesilea and Kriemhild). You need to have a deep-seated hatred of and grudge against humanity in general to qualify -- Jalter, Gorgon, Dantes, Lobo, etc.
...or be Nobbu, I guess.

I heard someone said it's like Da Vinci's case: Rikyu borrows Komahime's body. So does Rikyu still possess the girl's body in 3rd asc or is it rly Komahime this time (hence the younger voice)?
I'm pretty sure the FA has Rikyu say "Rikyu is Komahime, Komahime is Rikyu", implying that they are mostly one entity, just with different emphasis on each individual in different Ascensions.

In the event, Komahime is always the one in control in 3rd ascension. They're literally switching between ascension to talk to each other. One thing you can see that show that they're different is during epilogue Komahime doesn't know how to make tea and Rikyu appalled to be in this body.

i wonder why her 3rd asc have those appearance though, the ends of her hair looks like trees , behind her is a sword?, and below her is two giant hands connected to her. And how would she fare against servants in a HGW? I dont think her legend is that strong... right? Unless all of the amalgamations of the "Weak" ,those who were trampled, killed or taken advantage of by the strong , and those countless unrequited souls gave their power to her. Then its a different story.
Maybe those hands & lot of Blood Attacks are Phantom.

Jack the Ripper is also another type of almagations of spirits and supposed to be pretty weak too. In actual HGW, it depends on the Master too.
Her NP is C-rank, which should tell you where she stands on the whole. Her stats as well, while not terrible, don’t really put her amongst the top class. She’s pretty much what she is; a dangerous ghost lady. She’d certainly be a disaster for normal magi and could hold her own against heroic spirits of lower mystery, but she’d just be a random encounter for big legends.
Design motifs:
Trees are most likely to represent Rikyu's wabi sabi (the tree's trunk is perfectly imperfect in it's own right. You can see more to this beauty when you look at bonsais since they use the same philosophy.) They also form from Koma's kimono ends instead of her hair.
The sword comes from Rikyu's possession (he only possessed one) but that's only based from his bio. As for origins, I don't know (since I actually don't play the game).
Against other servants... yeah i think the other comment already put this point. I think fate has the power to make the weaker servants strong, while the stronger seem weaker sometimes (Gilgamesh and his mental handicap) so I can't blame you for that. Basing from Rikyu's NP though, it's probably at most, just an NP that stalls for time against higher ranking servants. I don't have an idea how he used it in the event tho.
