Depending on your opinion and I think you from the 50s actually probably disagree depends on your music taste in your opinion letter people have their own opinion still
AdventuresOfTheKanFam other than being massively overproduced...well that and the only good songs are boots, magnificent, no line, and breathe...and they are compressed as hell
@@guitardds I agree with you about NLOTH. I'm a die-hard U2 fan and I think this was album, era of their career and 360 tour was the last time they were really at the top of their game. This is just my opinion and obviously millions think otherwise as is their right to. I think they're just going through the motions now. Their last 2 albums don't have any feel or emotion to them and the same with their concerts. Their love shows are still great, but nowhere near as good as they used to be. U2 can make albums like SOI and SOE in their sleep at this point. I'll always love this band, but it doesn't sound, look and more importantly, FEEL, the way it used to.

No Line on the Horizon wasn't a perfect album, but it was damn close. Especially for later U2.

Yet it's still better produced than anything on SOI and SOE. They only upped the compression further on those.
boots has a catchy riff -- but would've been much better if bono had actually written lyrics instead of going on a stream of consciousness style rant
