So where are the utilities located?? I didn’t see an electrical box, hot water heater, central air system or heater?? I think that’s important to know in case of emergencies. Where’s the plumbing? Those are not pretty to look at but it’s necessary for a home to have.

They need to add a stove under the microwave. I mean like how is one supposed to cook? Perhaps the island could house a combo washer/dryer on the side facing the kitchen. Those are essentials needed in a home. And where is the clothes closet? Would have been nice to have seen where that is ...... Personally, for myself, I could do with out the dishwasher. My hubby and I just wash dishes by hand, I mean like how many dishes does one or two people use for a meal? Beautiful home, but need those essentials.....

Have another tkuletbw handbasin or add another bedroom with another shower/toilet/basin with entry from the main area. Even make it bigger to also accommodate a washer and tumble dryer if wanted. Cupboards could be added in this room as well. The kitchen/lounge area needs expanding for comfort. You dont want your face 'IN' the tv!
2 more rooms needed plus expansion for the rest. They should make one for a disabled person while theyre doing this! The bedroom door is too tight a fit to get in there. It looks like you have to open the door fully, walk in then go behindbthe doir and close it! WHAT!!!

And when hundreds have to land it can be a mess. I never thought about the horses. Thanks for telling me. Sometimes, actually too often, we fail to see what consequences others have because of our "progress" (having stuff no one ever had before-like balloons). Deep bass coming out of cars rattling everyone's windows in the hopes that someone will look at them and give them some importance. Disturbs everyone but they don't care.

I would omit the dish washer and reduce the size of the island. The island is counter height so it doesn’t exactly require bar high stools, but something a bit higher than regular seating. Reducing the size of the cabinet part of it and allowing the countertop to extend from it a bit more (possibly have a drop down piece) could allow four people to sit there. As far as a cooktop, I’ve seen plenty of tiny homes that have portable ones that get put away when not in use. I would head to IKEA for closet solutions to the bedroom. All in all, I think it’s quite cute. It’s probably used mostly more as a guest suite than for tiny living.

Beautiful home. But for practical , full time occupancy, would need a stove and closet space. Maybe a washer/dryer combo could be added on the outside and enclosed. Otherwise, bright, airy and single story. I, too, could do without dishwasher. I removed mine from the condo I just bought, additional storage space was more important. One good thing about living in a smaller home, you really evaluate what possessions you want to have. I feel much less encumbered.

You can always add a screened in deck for extra space on the outside with a patio door on one side for summer enjoyment this has so much potential.

I was confused by this house until I read the description and saw that this is a vacation rental. That explains the missing stove but I still think it needs a closet and a washer/dryer. Its pretty though.

YEAH, no wasted corner space in kitchen. My 1st pet peace in new builds. Can't be helped in older homes. Add a side-by-side washer & dryer, raise the windows to kitchen height, then I'd move in. Oh a walk-in closet would make it perfecto

Love the exterior--So attractive to those of us who live in a more northerly location. However the interior, for that very same reason, strikes me as "cold", feeding the warmth of wood and textured fabrics. See? Too used to living where It's cold 6 months.

I live in New Mexico. Rio Rancho for a long time and currently in the foothills. I think this is a wonderful guest quarters. No closets required or stove needed however the microwave could be convectionnoven for its size if needed. Also no need for washer and dryer as guests dont need to cook ( we do that for them here) they can warn up some wonderful Sadies leftovers ! Haha but none of the above mentioned items stove closets or washer dryer are needed for guest quarters and the beautiful corralles location will always get a return on a casita. If its mother in law quarters a armoire will solve the closet issue and mom can come to main house fot laundry and dinner with the family. But a stackable wash/ dry a convection oven and armoire solve all the issues if need be. Love this corralles cutie!

Great looking casita. For 1 or 2 adults, no children, this is a great layout. I don't really know the ins and outs of tiny home sizes and zoning regulations and that, but not sure why you would not go ahead and add another few hundred square feet for closets and a bit of storage. I would take this layout over the loft layouts any day.

Agree! I inquired about building a small home. The builder told me it isn't cost efficient to build a tiny home, plus in the end there is no appreciation and difficult to resell which affects the value and can affect a mortgage. He indicated it costs more to build a smaller home versus a larger one. Why would I waste the money? I looked into the "tiny home" on wheels but the prices were outrageous for what you got, and yes no resell/appreciation, plus property ordinances, zoning and utilities. It is very complicated to deal with. I ended up with a small home 1300 sq ft for less than some of the tiny homes. And the demand for my home is impressive. Smaller homes can also require smaller appliances for example, and they cost more than the regular ones. It is a lot to consider. but having said that, I love this house, and would love living in it. when you do your homework, it is a lot to consider.
