CSU SAN BERNARDINO would be relatively expensive with 2 bed 2 bath rent cost around $2000 -$2500.
Being closer to big tech cities, job opportunities are pretty decent after graduation.
Is the TOEFL Essential test also accepted at San Jose State University, or do they only accept the TOEFL iBT?
SJSU on their website only mentions the requirements of TOEFL iBT.
The best option would be to reach out to the admissions office.

GRE scores are not required for students with an undergraduate degree from an ABET accredited degree program. You can determine if your degree program is accredited at abet.org.
GRE scores are required from all other universities. The following minimum scores are required to be considered for admissions into the MS Software Engineering Program:
Quantitative + Verbal (GRE q+v) score = 305 or higher
Analytical Writing (GRE AWA) score = 3.0 or higher
Hi..if our score are higher than minimum required score but lesser than average required score..what's the chance of getting admitted in any university?
If you really like the program of some university, I would suggest applying if you have more than a minimum score.
The average score is just to give an idea. One is always compared with other applicants, and the average score for each semester keeps on changing accordingly.
Is there need of work experience for getting in MSDA ? Could be a chance for admit just after graduation in computer science?

Hi , I jad a few following questions.
1. Can i complete the MSCS in 1/1.5years?
2.Is it compulsory to have show around 30,000$ in bank account at the time of application. I will be getting the loan once i get the college admit.
3. I have a B.E in electronics and communication engineering but will be applying for MSCS, i currently have 1year of work experience as Software engineer.What are my chances of getting the admit?
1. The program is available to students with a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline with additional prerequisites. You can reach out to info-compsci@sjsu.edu to get exactly which prerequisites you would need to take.
2. Not all courses are available during the summer period, so it is good to consider 24 months by cost wise.
3. You can show a bank letter stating that the loan would be provided on the collateral after admission.
However, please note that your admission decision is not based on the amount or type of funding you provide. This information must be submitted by the posted deadlines and is used after you have been admitted to issue your I-20.
Hi, thanks a lot for the info! I have bachelors in ECE and 7 years of software job experience in India. What are the masters courses that I can consider in SJSU which will add benefit in finding jobs in California? Im interested in 1. MSCS (which may not be possible to get into since i studied ECE), 2. engineering management 3. Software engineering. Please suggest. Also what would be approximate expenses for any courses that I might consider in SJSU? can i say 35k tuition fee for 2 years of course?
Total tution fees for both CS and Software engineering would be same i.e approx. $32,000, but engineering management would be slightly less around $$30,000. It is because in CS and SE, one has to complete 33 course credits, and in engineering management, one has to complete 30 course credits.
One thing to note here is that tution fees are affordable in SJSU, but the cost of living is high. It can be approx. $1000 per month if you share it with a roommate.
Also, both CS and software engineering would give equal opportunity to same tech job positions after graduation. With engineering management, you may have to apply to different types of tech job roles, which may have some management requirements.
In the end, I would say all 3 of them are good choices, and it would depend on your interest.

It is hard to say any number of students they recruit as it depends on the currently enrolled studenta and their faculty .

But honestly, I would say no one can guarantee a high ROI university. If one does, they are lying.
Everyone has to work hard and be proactive for job search.
One has to find a job with at least $60k annually, as that is min. required salary if you want a work visa (H1B) after your student visa. And all the calculations and budget should be made considering that amount.

Yes. SJSU requires all applicants who have completed course work outside of the United States and Canada to provide a WES (World Education Services), document-by-document evaluation. Mark sheets/transcripts must be sent directly to WES for evaluation.

Adelphi is relatively less popular among international students.
I would say it is a decent university. But the cost of living would be relatively expensive.

Only if you are still enrolled in a bachelor program.
If you are currently in an undergraduate program outside the U.S., you will be required to send your transcripts for semesters 1-7 to WES by the document deadline for your program.
