    I love what you did here, this is very well done. The narrator struggles with the Nahuatl names but that's not really surprising as it's a text-to-speech, 11
    I can see you've actually read the primary sources and even included some of the traps the defenders used.
    The fall of Tenochtitlan (which actually occured after the dismantling of the Aztec Empire) teaches us a valuable lesson: cannons and horses are scary, but decentralization is scarier. The governing system of Tenochtitlan was too hands-off... too unstable.

    Have you found that Age of Empires is the best for creating these historical scenarios? It’s been a while but I vaguely remember that Rise of Nations had some pretty sweet scenario making tools and their faction unique units could spice up the visuals. Not sure how difficult it would be to control armies compared to AoE though.

    • @historyforgamers
      @historyforgamers  Před rokem +1

      Yes, Rise of Nations has a good editor but I think the one for AoE2 is much more complete and easy to use. In addition, AoE2 continues to receive new content with the Dlcs and that means that it can have new units, buildings, etc., with which to make scenarios.
