Hi Friends I am Muhammad Faisal Masood.Today i will show you How you can use a PTCL modem as a WiFi router.Because Mostly WiFi router that we use in home have 1 WAN port and 4 LAN ports but there is no WAN port in PTCL modem. It has 4 LAN ports only,So without configuration you can not use this modem as a router because modem have no WAN port.First of all i will tell you how you can configure one of the LAN port of PTCL modem as a WAN port .When you will configure that modem's 1 LAN port as a WAN port then you can use that modem as a Router.And then i will show you how you can use PPP Over Ethernet .Like this you will be able to use that PTCL modem as a main WiFi Router for Cabel internet service.Hope video will be helpful for you.
