Yes, I would definitely love it if you gave us a series of fun boogie lessons.
Also a video of working on the Ratty-Tatty Baby Piano would be fun and educational.
We should get 50k YT subscribers very soon. Spread the word, Gang!

Would be cool to see you do some repairs on the piano! I guess there is no commercial value in it at all, but it can be a good learning experience, and for us cool to see ;-). Keeping the highest and lowest notes in tune is always very difficult.
But as it is, still sounds cool 🙂.

Let the good times roll! You can choose your listening style: You can have fun just sitting back and letting your toes do the tapping as you just take it all in (actually, impossible to stop the toe tapping!), or get fascinated as you realize how complex and how MANY varied techniques are employed. (I can’t possibly list them all here, but a few worth mentioning.) I agree with other commenters on some stride. Loved the intro that primed for catching the C -> G -> C, and noticed that not only did the keys do that, but each key was a unique “song.” Caught the multiple instances of 3 against 4 rhythm (or was it 2 against 3?) Probably biggest fascination for me was the choice of scales (of various types) in left hand. Obviously, enjoyed thoroughly! This type of music is “your” music! Thanks for sharing it with us!

I would love to learn boogie piano and it would be extremely challenging for you to get the ratty tatty piano back in form that any old instrument deserves after many years of service I don’t believe in scrapping old musical instruments they would always provide someone who can’t afford a new instrument, something to get started on

    Moin Moin!

Just a gentle tip, as a previous comment says, tap the wrestling down, you'll know as it will go slightly tighter. Superglue won't work and will cause problems. Ex piano technician of 25 years lol 😊

The nice In tune cross string pianos at King's Cross are hammered by the Street Musicians and soon get out of tune and suffer broken strings regularly. Still enjoy Frasers playing

Grmbl...

Tuning hammer. And please don't use super-glue. A little diluted VPA might help. I hope you have had some training in tuning! Remember to go slightly sharp, then come down, rather then tuning up

@@theroboticcraftr Don't be shy let your feeeling out. e.g. as I was a young man i found my guitar play was so horrible. Older friend of my bother was , in that time in teh music business. One of them take me with him and i meet Jimi Hendrix. Jimi was friendly and we speek a while, so he ask what i can do with a guitar. I say nothing i belive - what do Jimi gave me one of his guitars and say - lets play - he jam with me .
After that , he say to me , i am the blackest whitebreat what he seen in music. He mean you feel the blues and you has found out to give it to your guitar. I was rather impressed by that , from a rock legend. What he give to me was : grab your guitar and play , all what come in mind. Some are good , keep that , some are shit , throw that in the bin. Nowadays i am a good bluesplayer, states from all critics .
