As a career employee at SIO, I had the fortune to serve on FLIP for 10 years. It never ceased to amaze me and while in port at Pt.Loma and B Street pier, we saw people from all over the planet wanting a tour.

I remember when we went underway and I saw this thing for the first time off the coast of San Diego. It was amazing to see in person and MUCH bigger than it looks on here.
