Avalon was a front wheel drive, more of a premium Camry. The Cressida, Lexus GS300/Toyota Aristo, and Lexus IS300 had actual supra engines. They were the most reliable cars ever made by Toyota. Those closest modern equivelent is probably the Lexus IS cars.

If a student is part of their community college debate team, I’d argue that would look better if they’re transferring to a 4 year. Maybe if the person is applying from high school to a top ranking university program?? I guess I really don’t know. I went from high school to a 4 year, however I wasn’t part of any extracurricular clubs in high school. Never participated in anything. But after a year I went down to community college, to take the prerequisites and save some money, afterward I jumped back to the 4 year. To what degree does extracurricular make a resume look better. I’m not too sure. But I’ll take your word for it and look into it.

A newer 4 door Supra would be the '93-'97 Lexus GS300 or the '98-'05 Lexus IS300. Both are offered the 2JZ-GE engines like the Mark IV Supra.
